Hey guys!
So this is a little bit of an off topic post, but if anyone can help out that would be awesome.

I recently bought a car, and was told that there was a certain thing wrong with it that needed to be fixed. when I took it to the shop though, turns out that it's the motor that's bad, and needs a whole new replacement. I only bought the car for $600, and it's in decent shape other than a few cosmetic issues, aside from the motor. So I don't want to get rid of it and try and get another car. So far I'm getting quoted anywhere between $2500-$3000 to get it fixed, including the labor and motor. Things are tight lately so this is ridiculously out of my budget. If anyone has any recommendations on a cheaper but good mechanic, or if anyone here is a mechanic or knows enough about cars, please contact me (either PM, email or text) with any information. I'm willing to just get a motor myself if someone can switch it out (and pay for labor of course).

It's an '05 Chevy Trailblazer LS; 4.2L; i6; 2wd.

Thanks in advanced!
