... that you have spent a rough few days with your dog battling a potentially terminal situation that culminated with her having to have emergency surgery yesterday.
I am glad to hear that the surgery went well and that it appears she will have a complete recovery. Many of us develop relationships with our pets that are unlike any other we ever have because of the unconditional love they give us.
Now it is time to get that pretty smile of yours back again!
IM so happy to hear your pup wi doinf well...I wanted to share with you my new pup....Mr Tuffy!! Teacup Maltese, This poor fela has sugar issues and has had many seizures, but if getting plump and better
There had to be Angels looking out for her. Due to my schedule, I wasn't even supposed to be home...my schedule changed the last minute and I thankfully was home.
She had been on medication for a while, I thought she was getting better. Within 48 hours it turned quickly into do or die. She was unable to urinate on her own and her stomach was getting swollen.
She has always been in good hands with her primary vet who I rushed her to yesterday morning, he referred me to a specialist just in time. She was rushed into surgery right after X rays were taken.
Come to find out she had 4 huge gallstones and one of them was causing blockage for her to urinate and her bladder was 3 times normal size. If I would have waited 24 hours, her bladder would have ruptured and she would have died.
Thank God she is in recovery and will be home today. She isn't even 2 yet and has so much more of a life to live. She is my daughter and I love her dearly. For all the animal lovers out there, you know exactly where I am coming from.
Thank you for your kind words. You have touched my heart.
Diva Dawg, I am glad that your friend is doing well, because I remember when you were sick and your mommy was really worried too. Sindie take care of your baby!
Sadly in January of this year I lost my little guy, Cody due to liver and pancreas problems that I couldn't fix. He like, Sindie's was only 2.. They become like our children.
I have met that pretty little girl of Sindie's and she is a sweetheart. I am happy to hear that she is all better and on the road to recovery..
Cody--the one to the left who is in doggie heaven and prancing around with the angels is happy it was not her time yet and Princess (Cody's grandma and who I still have) are very happy she is better.
Kisses to the little one and glad she is getting better..
It's never easy when they're sick. Just lost my Sam recently. He was around for 13 years, and was a great guy. I hope your little girl stays around for a good long time, at least as long as I had my Sam.
