Does that raise red flags for anyone? I have noticed there are some cases, one in particular for Miami, where a provider has like 10 reviews, and 8 of them are one time only reviewers who have provided 9/10 or 10/10; there is one low review, but the low review is someone I know to be very credible. To me, all of these one-time 10/10 is very suspicious activity, but what do others think?
Its easy for an agency or someone with alot of friends to do this. You can have 4 friends write 4 reviews and end up on the 100 best list.....and not even be real.
There WAS a time when I was NOT consistent about ANYTHING in my life.
IF you look at my reviews from several years ago, you will see that the #'s vary GREATLY.
I wasn't even aware of TER then... During the last 2 years, I have kicked myself into FULL GEAR & even though some of my reviews ARE fake ( I believe this is PARTLY because of my no reference rule )... even the FAKE ones are decent #'s.
I will NEVER understand the rating system HERE. EVERYONE'S opinion varies.
I TRULY believe that it IS the rating system, ALONG WITH the free VIP membership for 2 reviews, that FUEL THE BS here on TER.
will provide an experience that meets my needs. In no case do I go back 2 years because people change over time; sometimes for the better (your case) and sometimes for the worse.
When giving out a reference. I am more worried about getting caught in a sting than getting good service. It's pretty far fetched to happen but from where I sit it could be disastrous .
Many times I will see ladies who are just starting with reviews from reviewers who only have one review and no whitelists.
Although I know of gentlemen who never write reviews and have been long term members here. Some may even have whitelists attached to their profile. When they find someone very special they will bend their own rules and write a review of the lady. It sure makes that review very special in my eyes.
Also the guys using VIP can scan all the girls whitelist and reviewers quickly and within seconds can see how many reviews a guy has done..Fake reviews are almost impossible just like the op stated the fake reviewers would only have 1 review and no whitelist.....TER has strick poilicies on fake reviews and it is the number one reason that providers get de-listed..........

is always important, I believe. Hobbyists who are whitelisted by several very highly respected companions, for instance, have very high credibility when they write reviews. Or people who have reviewed at least 2 or 3 top providers also have credibility. I just feel the TER review moderators should take a look at providers who are getting all these 10 reviews from one-time posters who have not reviewed other, verified providers. It's pure shadiness to me. Like people have stated, anyone can post a review spread out over several months to make it seem legit....
I am NOT opposed to OR ungrateful for true reviews... heck, I'm sure even the fake ones haven't hurt me.
It is NOT the system of reviews themselves that I feel is a waste... it is only the RATING SYSTEM that I am not a fan of &... I am NOT a low rated provider here. I have nothing to GAIN by being honest except HOPEFULLY... the respect of those who agree with me.
I am only telling it like I see it & I HOPE I haven't offended anyone by doing so.
