That was very sweet Sarah. In fact, after Sarah's post, I immediately went to her website to find out more about this lady. Having been in some pretty dark places in my past, I often find myself saying There but for the grace of god. Humility, gratitude, and compassion can be very sexy too.

I have also been in some bad situations, and if I had children, god only knows what I might have done. Wildthing, I think you'd do anything to feed your babies. I know I would now that I have my own. And we just don't know how she may have gotten there. I know lots of people who have fallen on hard times. Here in Tampa so many people have taken to the streets to panhandle. Many more than I have seen anywhere in the past. She may have been laid off, foreclosed on, had a medical emergency in the family and no insurance...we just don't know. And she might have taken to the street because she knew no other way.

One thing is for sure- being arrested won't help her cause. Nor will it stop people from taking to the street when they are in need. Those laws are stupid, harmful, and a waste of public money.

And just purely by circumstance I am not there myself. I thank god every day for that. I wish prosperity on everyone.

why someone who has to resort to that for 2 cheeseburgers & $40...
would be SELFISH enough to bring babies into this world in the 1st place.
