I am glad see that you are taking the thoughtless off hand manner that TER implemented the off shoring of your primary functions as moderator for this and the Atlanta board. I don't expect that the new Mod's will have enough knowledge of the local culture and personality to be able to add much color and spark much positive interaction in the various American markets. I know this from personal experience being an immigrate myself.
There are some who are welcoming this change because it will end the discussion and any perceived or the actual personal bias of any local Mod's. Now we all will just have to contend with any perceived or the actual personal bias of our European overseer's. I actually might be interesting if the gentlemen on this site imagine them to be tall green-eyed Nordic blondes who constantly play with their vibiraters in their spare time . . . Keep that thought!
In actually, I imagine that they are low paid corporate minion's performing these functions who are just as fearfull of being fired as we providers are of being moderated or banished. In actually I don't know nor do I really care much.
All in all, I have only have 30 posts to my credit since I became a member to TER in 2008 to include provider ad's and picture posts. It was only very recently that I became more active since I moved to Florida and started participating on this board. One of the major reasons for my recent interest was because I really enjoyed reading your posts and because some of the other providers who frequent this board are really fun and funny. The most important factor remains that you set the tone of the discourse and everyone was having fun as a result.
Since your removal as moderator I have even more respect for the job you did as Mod protecting the civil discourse by removing the posts of the various piss-ants who seem to have nothing better to do than deficating on the posts of those they don't agree with. I wonder when our European Mod's / Admin's will begin to get a handle on this? I know that I am less inclined to participate and to renew my VIP status. Time will tell.
In actually, I do see the advantages of moving the Mod's functions to an off-shore location considerating pending legislation pending to limit freedom of speech on the Internet. Despite my sarcasm, I wish TER every success now and in the future in this regard.
I just hope that the corporate officers have learned that it is just good business practice to take into account the feelings of who have contributed so much of their free time to make TER a fun and profitable place for all. In actuality the only thing I find upsetting about the recent change was the manner in which it was initiated.
We all have feelings and mine would not have been hurt at all if the Mods in question had been notified in advance and a statement posted on the boards concerned before we found out through rumor and back channels. In fact, I would have given the change my complete support as I do now as I a wait my turn as "Cruise Director". Coffee, tea,or me anyone. Can I wear my mini skirt and dancing heels?
All fun aside, I wish you all the best DD and hope you continue to take the time to post on the Florida board from time to time. I really do think that TER should give you a very expensive gold rolex for services rendered.
By the way, I continue to be confused as to which board is your home board.

P.S. Just so you know, I have never met or talked with DD in person. I did receive a welcoming email from him when I started posting on this board and I did contact him once regarding a problem I perceived about the picture post counters not counting unique views. We disagreed but I respected his view point. I am not one of his girls either but I could be . . .
