The Great American Smokeout

The American Cancer Society is marking the 37th Great American Smokeout on November 15 by encouraging smokers to use the date to make a plan to quit, or to plan in advance and quit smoking that day. By quitting — even for one day — smokers will be taking an important step towards a healthier life – one that can lead to reducing cancer risk.

Tobacco use remains the single largest preventable cause of disease and premature death in the US, yet about 43.8 million Americans still smoke cigarettes — Nearly 1 in every 5 adults. As of 2010, there were also 13.2 million cigar smokers in the US, and 2.2 million who smoke tobacco in pipes — other dangerous and addictive forms of tobacco.

It's been over 2 years that I've been smoke free and I will continue to do so for the rest of my life.

I might be one of those soapbox ex smokers. But I only do so because I know it's a better life to live smoke free.
No more horrible cough in the morning, no wondering when I can have my next smoke.
Not to mention the UNSEXY smell that it lives on your person, car, house, etc....

Do you know how much $$ you are wasting to make yourself sick ?  Do the math. It will shock you....

Think about this. All the $$ you spend on cigs, if you quit you can spend it on many beautiful woman here.

Here's a link to help you figure it out.

That's a LOT of kissing!!

That's a lot of happiness.!!!

And you wouldn't run out of breath either (lol)

I challenge you to quit. If you need a person to help you.....I raise my hand and commit to you for committing to quitting

Lots of smoke free kisses to you,

Gabby xox

...and it was THE hardest thing I ever did!

I don't condemn smokers.  I keep a nice basket of disposable toothbrushes and mouthwash in my bathroom for my guests.

I respect those who ARE able to put it down, because I know how difficult it is.

May 13, 1988.  Cold turkey, it can be done!!!!!!  Nuff said.  Sorry folks, but IMHO. you won't quit unless you really want to.  So, you smokers, don't come crying about how you can't quit.  If you really want to quit, you would.  Sorry if I pissed off some smokers, but that's how I feel about it.
