It's obvious that a great deal of thought went into this post. Not only taking the initiative to post something of value...but pointing out so many great things we have, and maybe take for granted, by living here.
It's a sad commentary that the lack of responses is remarkable. I'm guessing if you started a train-wreck thread the views and responses would be much higher.
I, for one, will now consider this post as my "bucket list" of sorts. A few things I've done...but far too many I haven't. Gotta change that...and soon.
For everyone who hasn't viewed or responded to this post.....shame on you. As I've said since day one here....the board is what YOU make it. Obviously there's many who make it nothing other than their weekly ad post...or making their daily "you're hot" responses to theme days.
As for me.....I think I need to head to Jupiter to eat, have a body shot in Miami, catch the sunset off Mallory Square, head up to Tampa for some gambling at the Hard Rock, and check out this Mons Venus place. I'll enjoy the seafood on the way...but skip the golf thing. I only seem adept at taking out car windows when I try that.
So time for me to gas up the truck and head out.....and some of you others to start participating in your board.
DD you are doing a fine job as mod (and yes, if you have not been to Mons, you must go!) and you are correct, the board is what you (we) make it. Which is sometimes not the most inviting place for some of us. I have been a member for a few years but very seldom post on the board. To this point I have not posted any reviews and those of us without reviews tend to get less respect on our board postings, particularly regarding our opinion about providers. It is what it is, but why post and participate if you're not wanted or until you have posted reviews? But sticking with the original thread, different strokes for different folks. I for one love the nature and wildlife of this great state. The wonderful, sexy ladies here are awesome, but drop me in the middle of a swamp and I'm a happy camper! (to some extent!)
A round of golf in the morning, followed by blackened grouper, a visit with a young hottie (review pending), then had to get back to Georgia. 3 out of 4 ain't bad.
Skinny dipping under a full August moon in the crystal clear ocean (10 days from now)
Lobster season in the Keys & the tiki bar on Islamorada or Teaser's in Key West
The yearlings in Ocala and new foals every spring
Spanish moss hanging from ancient oak trees in fields covered in early morning dew, sparkling as the sun peeks through the fog and the mockingbirds & mourning doves welcome this northern Florida day
The fireworks every night at DisneyWorld...
The roller coasters (Busch Gardens just opened Cheetah!)
Blue Springs, Poe Springs & the Ichetucknee River
Marco Island and the white sands of the gulf all the way to the panhandle... I've always wanted to explore the forts of Pensacola...
I love the wild sides of Florida...From fish bites to city lights

The zillion miles of boating opportunities;
Golfing....ANYWHERE;
The great seafood;
The great family entertainment everywhere;
The fact that Lynyrd Skynyrd is from Jacksonville (no....NOT Alabama);
