..... so this is not the case.  I am not talking about Backpage ladies or Cityvibe ladies either.

And to Mr. Hardwood469. so am I to assume if these behaviors happened to you, you would just gladly smile and brush it under the rug?????

which was nicely written by DD, covered some excellent points.  But I was knid of anxiously awaiting the sequel which would be entitled:

Courtesans, Etiquette 101 - When ladies behave badly.......in a perfect world it would be my hope that everyone would just get along, be honest, have mutual respect and have a great time.

I used the word courtesans because I do have a great deal of respect for most of the ladies who are here and what they do.  There actually are some shining stars out there, you can definitely see that when you take the blinders or rose colored sunglasses off.....

I am not talking about petty issues of ladies not returning phone calls and e-mails, or she didn't like you either.....

Some of the topics which should be covered though would include....

1) Bait & switches by a Courtesan without the approval of the client....

2) Not being a responsible Courtesan, if you can't make it, just pick up the phone and say that, don't care if you are drunk, stoned, wasted, high, etc...

3) Excessive tardiness by a  Courtesan(oh, your time is more valuable than mine.....) as I wait hours for you to arrive or not arrive or you say you are coming but have no intention of making it.

4) If you can't make a trip, how about returning the deposit.....not try to find a replacement.

5) Just outright deception and lies

Before the lynch mob arrives .....think about and let me know how you would feel if these happened to YOU.

These are just a few, I may have more, feel free to chime in on other forms of bad behavior.....I may also have a story to tell, hence the use of an alias to be respectful and take the high road for now.  The items mentioned above actually do relate to an actual situation.  Just doing my due diligence, before I proceed onward.

Feel free to let me know what you think and depending upon how productive the conversation is, I may add more information.

Thanks in advance for your input....

for one instance of a NCNS.

In another instance, miscommunication derailed an appointment, but the "make-up" nearly killed me.

Your use of the word "courtesan" here is interesting, only because in TER-ville's lexicon the "lady" is typically referred to as a "provider".  The courtesan tag is usually one that a lady ascribes to HERSELF, usually indicating an experience and dependability that resides at the top of the "industry".  I'm not saying courtesan isn't appropriate, but I've got an inkling that's got a little bit to do with your situation.

The standards you mention above seem to be the very "floor" of what I've come to expect from the hobby as a whole, let alone ratcheting the expectations into courtesan status.  Most ladies who don't EXCEED those basics are outed on the board long before they become a larger problem.  Thankfully, the Florida board isn't overrun with evidence of this type of behavior like many others do.

You're dancing around a story here...I'm grabbing my popcorn and watching...

....but it seems to have fallen on deaf ears to date.  There was a similar type situation in Las Vegas earlier this year or last year I do recall.  I am hoping for some kind of resolution before you need to get the popcorn ready.......just saying!

90 percent of the ladies here do not behave in the way you describe above. Sure, there are a few "strange" ones out there but if you have read the reviews and follow the boards on a regular basis, we usually know who they are and avoid them. If there is someone who behaved in the manor you described, let the community know.

there's little chance of a problem-I've only been stiffed once and I called her immediately when I got home-As with my other board buddy, the make up the next day was incredible-sending an email or call the day of an appointment to confirm provides good communication and is a nice touch IMHO-Homework and research will go a long way to insure your fun in the hobby-1rob....have a great week...out

Shit always happens in this hobby...on BOTH sides of the situation.  I've had a couple of those things happen to me, and at the time, your like WTF???  But then I simply say to myself, "well, guess she didnt need my money that bad, and I still have it for another day"  And if I see someone ask about that same person, I have NO problem stating my situation with that person.....and if she couldnt handle it, then thats her problem.

On the flip side, I have had last minute crap come up and cancel at the last minute...but I have always called the lady and apologized to her.  I feel for the lady if she is visiting my town as she is here to make money, and that time could have been used by someone else, but no one has blasted me because of it....and if they did, I have no problem saying it on a board if I'm asked about it.

Conduct yourself in a gentlemenly manner, and that reputation goes far.....just try to avoid the last minute cancellations if you can.....when I have had times I may not be able to make it, I get screened first, and let the lady know of my situation and I will call last minute....HOWEVER, I let her know that if she gets the opportunity to fill that time with a confirmed appt, I completely understand and hope our pathes cross again.

Bottom line, courtesy goes both ways....and if you dont have it, dont be surprised to get called out on it, ladies and gents alike.

Cheers

....what you have posted is minor, compared to what I posted.  If you had a drink at a lobby bar, maybe you would have got the chit-chat oit of the way and the elevator ride would have been uneventful....
