I think sometimes it's that incongruity that annoys people.

I grew up on St Thomas and recently lived on St Croix. The answer is you'll have to import your playmate from somewhere else since there aren't any ladies that'll meet your needs. BTW HIV and AIDS is rampant, murders occur on almost a daily basis, cops are corrupt....enjoy!

Your passion should be sailing!  Getting lucky with the ladies on the trip with you should take care of itself, if you are vacationing with the right crew and people!

...definitely the sailing, and the grounds around the VI aren't half bad at all.  Lived on my boat in the islands for about four years...unfortunately, real life intruded...
