1. Read the Newbie board.  Lots of great information there.

2. Become a VIP and establish a presence here on the board.  Post every once in a while and interact with the locals.  

3. Start your exchanges with the providers with a courteous PM and then proceed to screening requirements via email.  That way, they can see your posts up front and get some kind of comfort level..

Many providers will see you if they have your full name up front, furnish a cell phone number  and you show ID once you get to your appointment. There are many, many retired hobbyists who can't furnish work verification. Remember, we all had to start somewhere, even the providers.

Once they do see you, ask to become White listed

I am an Orlando newbie who has been lurking on the site for the past few months. I have devoured all the information available. Amazing site, extremely helpful.

So why do I post now?
I am finding it difficult to schedule my first encounter due to verification. Over the past few months I have encountered a few similar situations on the FAQ for Newbies forum, a common response is to post on your local board. So here it goes.

The reason why it is difficult for me to get verified is because DateCheck, P411 are not an option for me.  Depending who you ask my friends and family will tell you I am retired, a day trader, a professional poker player,or a degenerate gambler (rooting hard for the Cardinals and Ireland this afternoon). I quit my job over a year ago, and have not looked back. Threw out my ties and have not worn pants in a year, wear shots not commando.

I have read hundreds of reviews, compiled my bucket list (from Jacksonville to Tampa, no 9-5 job so I'm willing to drive if need be).  I have sent emails to 3 providers from that list with no response. In those emails I am sure to be upfront about my circumstances. I am willing to provide any information that could be useful in verification or make a provider feel comfortable. I offer up my TER handle if they would like to establish a rapport and get to know me over a length of time first. Still nothing. I know 3 inquiries is not many, but since I travel a lot for poker and want to allow at least 3 days for a reply my emails have been sporadic when I am in town. I will now be in town until mid June, Vegas trip scheduled.

So what am I looking for?
Maybe any other hints from the seasoned vets. Any established providers from Jacksonville to Tampa, Orlando ideally but beggars can't be choosers, that are newbie friendly and care to take the time or effort to verify me. As mentioned, I am willing to provide any information that you may require. I have no SO to worry about, in fact my simplified dissolution of marriage was just finalized on Wednesday!! So I am looking to celebrate.

..sounds like you have VIP, If not... get it, so the ladies can contact you via PM & visaversa (Be polite when you do). That would be a 'safe bet'!

Just in case your handle is a reference to the Seinfeld episode where they're at Joe Mayo's party.....if not, never mind the angry face and the quote....

Anyway, way back when I started I used a pretty good Miami agency that routinely sent ladies to Orlando and Tampa, and around the country, as well. They were easy to deal with, not much to get verified and the ladies are great GFE's......I'm on their white list so that helps with other agencies and providers. Once you get going, it's a great ride.

I would recommend setting up a date with a Miami Companions provider. After you have seen her you will be in the MC database. If a future provider needs a reference then give them the MC Orlando phone number and they can verify you.

It worked for me when a porn star wanted a reference.

I don't know how easy their screening process is, especially for Newbs. For some reason, I must have made a DNS list.  

I have heard great things about their service from others, though.  We'll assume it was just me.

The other suggestions are definitely all worth trying but I would also recommend going ahead with an application to Date-Check and RS2K and perhaps P411 as well. Give them ALL the info they require and explain your "retired" status. After/if you are approved for verification, see a couple ladies on their membership lists..it's like getting whitelisted on TER. It worked for me.

You may be giving out too much info about your newbie status when you contact them. You may come off as too needy; certainly scary for people looking for signals you might be a LEO. If you go with RoomService2000 (RS2K), I know a reputed Orlando provider who'd knock you out of the saddle. Well worth the $ to sign up.
