Initially I wondered if this was a solution in search of a problem.  However, I'm pleasantly surprised at the changes and highly approve!

As of today, we now have two boards for every region. We have the regular board you are used to, and now an "ad only" board.
This option is only viewable using the new version of the site and not the classic. At the top you will see drop down menus for regional boards and regional ad boards. Two different things.

Ads are not allowed on the regular regional board.
Regular posts are not allowed on the ad board.
Theme day posts stay on the regular regional board.

The rules have not changed regarding ads. One ad per every 7 days per region.
Guys and ladies can comment on ad posts, but hijacking or 'crapping' on an ad is still not allowed and will get you moderated.

Since there is no hard and fast rule as to how this transition will be handled, each mod will be doing things their own way for the next week or so.
Some mods are busy moving ads from the regional board to the "ad only" board right now.
I, on the other hand, am way to lazy for that.
SO......

Until I get caught, reamed out, and possibly tossed out on my ass.....here's how it's going to work around here........(see....I told you that you should read this post)....

This is ad amnesty week.
The new regional ad boards are a clean slate. So if you want to post an ad...do so.
If you already have an ad posted on the regular regional board....so what.
This is the one and only time, probably ever, that you can have two ads running at the same time.
But you MUST post the ad using the new version of the site...and post it to the regional "ad" board.
Take your time, figure it out, and post in the right place.

I'm sure there will be questions and some confusion as we change to this new system, but in the long run I believe we will all see it as a positive change (except for the fact we have to use the new version of the site).

Let's all be patient, and before too long we'll have all the bugs worked out.

As always....

Just sayin'
DD

DD, I for one, LOVE the idea of a separate forum JUST for Ads
& I love your way of handling the transition.

I HOPE you don't get yelled at.
You are very common sensible & I'm glad you are OUR moderator.

makes alot of sense.......just goes to show you learn something new every day :)

Seems lots of ladies like the idea of ads in one place....and my ad amnesty week. They've really stepped up and put it all out there on the new ad board.
Well done!

TER will soon be as active as CL with lots more traffic but we will never feel like a small town community. More traffic lights will be needed for the rip off ads but reviews will handle that. Many didn't like CL but hell your phone rang and you worked gents had tons of choices and got to sample new territory. There's nothing wrong with having another escort mall to advertise on that doesn't cost you a fortune. Future predication could be cost

have you not noticed more ads of unknowns here. There are few places to advertise so why not push for seperate sections for escort ads. Just another classified section will work for TER when BackPage drops off. You will find this in google search soon for every state and city. It'll bring new attention to you and TER. Men don't search for reviews they search for escorts and TER will be on top of the list

This is a good move for TER and for the ladies but it depends on how you feel about newbies

I'm giving TER a standing ovation for moving in this direction

Kisses Haley

This new change is great! Not only for the ladies but now the gents can shop quicker and easier due to the ads are all in one place. And for me a bit easier to keep up with the daily posts and pics. Thanks for all that you do DD and TER! Hugs JoJo
