While it is anticipated that vigorous debate of ideas and opinions may occur within a forum, it is expected that civility in discourse will be maintained.
Criticizing ideas and opinions is a normal process of debate and each person should expect to have ideas challenged. However,
Personal attacks such as denigration of another person’s character or value have no place in such discussions
Posting personal information of other members/providers, including their emails and Private messages on public boards is ground for BANISHMENT from TER.
Posting mean and rude comments ,or links to other providers' reviews/site under a provider's AD is prohibited.
**** WARNING ****
*****Posting rude and mean comments while hiding under an ALIAS, will be reported to the moderator and the post will be modified to EXPOSE your USERNAME. Aliases are not to be abused for such purposes*****

Here are detailed guidelines for posting provider ads on TER, which might help you out.
TER Moderators may, at their discretion and judgment, delete any ads that, in their opinion, do not follow these guidelines.
Who May Post Ads?
- Post your own ads.
- Ads posted by other parties will be deleted (except when a lady employs someone to do her advertising and booking).
- Ladies, do not ask guys to post ads for you—it only gets them moderated.
- Ads and promos for providers who have been de-listed from TER will be removed.
When?
- Providers may post 1 ad per week (any 7-day period).
- When touring, you may also post 1 ad per week on the board for the city you will be visiting to announce your visit. Include the dates of your visit in the subject line of your ad.
Escort agencies may post 1 ad per week per region they serve.
- Posts regarding contact info, availability, announcing a new website or new pics all count as ads.
- Help us keep it fair by reporting violations of the limit to the local moderator of the board on which it appears or to Girl Next Door.
Where?
- Post your ad on the regional board that is closest to the area you are servicing.
- Porn Stars may advertise on the Porn Star (PS) board, and transexuals are encouraged to advertise on the Transexual (TS) board.
- Ads are not allowed on other TER discussion boards; however, providers may reply to ISOs (In Search Of) on any board with their links (see Link Guidelines below).
How?
- Please do not write ads in ALL CAPS.
- Your ad must include a link that goes to your website, to your TER review profile, or directly to your ad on an escort mall. See Link Guidelines below.
- Agencies must link to their own websites.
Link Guidelines:
- Your contact information must be on the site you link to.
- You may not link to a provider ad that is hosted on another escort review site.
- If you link to your own website, it needs the TER Site Reviews logo on its first or second page, or a TER banner on its first page.
- The logo or banner needs to link to TER.
- The logo or banner needs to be full size and unaltered.
Site Reviews Listing Help: http://www.theeroticreview.com/info_policies/siteListingHelp.asp
TER's Banner Farm: http://theeroticreview.com/link/TERadBanners.asp
If you list your site with in the TER Site Reviews, you will be sent the html code that will put the logo on your site and link it automatically. The more people who click through from your website to TER, the higher on the Site Reviews your listing will appear.
By participating in the discussions on TER discussion boards, you can greatly increase your visibility and give potential clients the opportunity to get to know you better. You may include your link in messages you contribute to any TER discussion board, and that does not count toward your ad limit. In fact, you are encouraged to include your link, because it helps everyone get to know you better. Just please make those linked messages meaningful, entertaining or helpful contributions.
when you post a reply to a thread, or start a legitimate discussion thread, it is absolutely appropriate to add a link to your website (as long as it is conforming) or EROS ad to your post.
You SHOULD NOT however, add your photo to the reply (or thread starter) - unless it is germane to the topic - like what color hair your have or whether certain areas are shaved, or how many tats you have, or whatever.
Also, adding a comment to a thread that adds nothing - like "Yea right", just so you can get your link in, is not appropriate.
Mini-Review Guidelines:
Per TER posting guidelines, reviews of any type are not allowed on discussion boards, because their proper place is in the review database. However, the use of mini-reviews is warranted by the need and desire of hobbyists to share review information on visiting providers whose local availability may have ended by the time a formal review is submitted and approved. Based on those conditions, mini-reviews are allowed on the discussion board, provided they meet the guidelines below.
1. Mini-Reviews may not be posted on local providers, regardless of whether they have TER reviews or not. Local providers will still be here next week, so no sense of urgency exists on sharing review information.
2. Mini-Reviews may only be posted on visiting providers with 3 or fewer TER Reviews. If a provider already has 4 or more TER Reviews, a Mini-Review is not needed -- look up the existing TER Reviews in the database.
3. Mini-Reviews may only be posted on visiting providers with 4 or more TER Reviews if none of the TER Reviews were posted within the past 3 months.
4. Mini-Reviews may only be posted by established TER members with 5 or more existing TER Reviews.
5. Mini-Reviews must be followed up by a formal TER Review posting within 72 hours.
6. Mini-Reviews may only be posted using your TER reviewer username - aliases may not be used.
7. Only one Mini-Review thread per visiting lady is allowed. Additional Mini-Reviews by other members may be added to the original Mini-Review post.
8. The Subject line of a Mini-Review post should be structured as follows:
Mini - [ProviderName of AgencyName/CityOfOrigin]
examples:
Mini - Wicked Witch of TinMan Companions
Mini - Dorothy of Oz
9. The Message body of the Mini-Review post may only include the following info:
Recommended: yes/no/ymmv
Rating: may range from 1/1 to 10/10 (appearance/performance)
GFE: yes/no/ymmv, or may use the GFE+++ scale
Services: list acronyms/terms of offered services only
Rates: rate/time of your encounter
Incall: yes/no - if yes, list general geographical area
Outcall: yes/no/unknown
Photos: accurate/glamour/old/B&S
- A link to the provider's current web site or escort mall ad must be included in 'link URL' box.
- Providing a photo link in the 'picture URL' box is acceptable.
- Additional text is acceptable but it may not have as many details as a formal review.
Mini-Reviews not meeting the format requirements will be removed or modified.
Mini-Reviews must be followed by submission of a full, formal TER review to the TER review database.
TER has instituted a policy that gives registered providers limited FREE TER VIP membership. The method of going about getting this FREE TER VIP membership and all of its benefits, as well as the ability to give a hobbyist a White List referral is as follows:
A provider MUST have her username registered as a provider and tied to her TER Profile and Reviews to receive limited FREE VIP. A provider must have at least one review to become a registered provider; this is because without a review you have no profile.
Check to see if this is already done. Look at one of your messages posted on any discussion board and see if there is a link which say "See my TER reviews" on the line under the subject line to the right of your username. If it's already there, you're registered.
If not, you need to send an email to [email protected] requesting registration as a provider. It is best to send the email from the same email address that is on your TER Profile, as that makes verification easier.
Please make sure to include your TER username, the name on your TER profile, and the TER ID of your profile or a direct link to your TER profile to expedite processing.
Once registered as a provider, you will have access to all of the services below:
1.) You will have access to the Juicy Details/Services Offered/Cost of Services areas of your own reviews (but not other reviews).
2.) Your TER Profile and Reviews will automatically link to every message you submit on any of the discussion boards, making it easy for guys to find you and increasing your exposure.
3.) You have access to the TER Mail/PM (Private Messaging) system. Access to the TER Mail system is a great asset in itself. It allows you to communicate with moderators, staff, hobbyists & other registered providers, without having to search for their email address or other form of contact.
4.) You will be able to give a White List referral to ANY hobbyist member of TER. It doesn't matter if he submitted a review of you or not.
To give someone a White List referral, click on the "reviews" button near the top of the screen, and then select "Search White List" on the left side of the screen. Type in the hobbyists TER username (or his email address if you don't know his username, which may, or may not, match up depending on what email he uses on his TER profile).
Once you find the hobbyist you are looking for, you click on the "Submit Referral Button", which only providers can see. It’s that easy!
Is there a TER LINK to these "rules and regulations", rather than just a copy and pasted version????? Many of us would like to see the actual TER rules...AS WRITTEN! Example: Minireviews...There are rules posted for all to see on them. I followed them...and my thread was yanked, and I was provided with the same set of obscure "new" rules that NO ONE can find (the same that are posted here, and were posted in DC in FEB.) However, no one has ever been provided with a link to read over these rules, so we can all be in compliance! Can this info please be provided? Thank you!
think I just make this stuff up to torment you, I have posted them to the same place the link above labeled "Message Board Policies".
If you do a little deeper research, you will see that the mini-review rules have been posted on the Newbie board in the past, and on the DC board almost monthly for the last 2 years.

Regarding Mini Reviews:
"You may not post MINI-REVIEWS on message boards unless you submit a Full Review of the same session within 4 days after posting the mini-review. Violators of this policy will lose their message posting privilege."
That is ALL that is said. Please direct us to where it can only be on visiting ladies, etc...
While we all want a fun board, taking down fun threads about a wonderful time a hobbiest with a provider, doesnt give the feeling of a fun board anymore. Whether the lady is visiting or local, a mini review should stand. What if the person posting a Mini on a lady is still moderated, and by the time it gets posted, she is gone, then what good is it?
Just some simple questions that some simple links to a URL can answer, NOT copy and pasted info.
Cheers
Since you mentioned the "rules" on the DC board for the last 2 years, this is the only posting of "rules" that have been on the FL board the last 2 years, and it was always directed at ladies posting ads.
Basically, there are 3 rules you must follow to get your messages posted:
1. When posting a message deemed to be an advertisement on the board, you must include a valid weblink to one of the following:
a. your own website, which MUST include the TER Reviewed Seal your site's homepage (proper seal is the one shown at the bottom of this message)
b. a TER Provider Profile
c. an ad on an escort mall (e.g., eros.com, cityvibe.com, etc.)
2. You can only post a message deemed to be an advertisement once every 7 days.
3. In addition to ads, you are welcome to reply to other messages, but they must be conversational and not just another ad. You are also welcome to start a message string about most anything, again as long as it wouldn't be deemed an ad. For messages other than ads, you are not allowed to include a weblink (per #1 above) UNLESS it is obviously appropriate and necessary. Getting involved on a daily basis on the board is a great way to promote yourself inbetween the 7 day ad rule!
I look forward to seeing you all participate on this Florida board more often! BUT, PLEASE follow the posting guidelines to help make my job easier!
Best to all,
Sly
Moderator
Any other things that were deemed "out of line" were removed, but it was NEVER done in a fun thread about a lady, that simply discourages people from posting comments about a lady, local or not.
The FL board has been called "The best board on TER" and its because of the people who contribute here, local or not. Lets not just let it blend into all the other boards with BS drama. We spend a lot of time in the sun, and we dont apply rules much, just try our best to have common courtesy for one another. If that gets thrown out the window, then yes, rules should be applied.
Cheers

Click the link just above the board that says " {Message Board Policies}"
then, when that opens up to the generic post guidelines, scroll down a little and notice the two posts attached to that thread. One called "Provider Ad Posting Guidelines".
The other is aptly named "Mini- Review Guidelines"
Click that link.
Now if all that is too hard for you, here is a link to it.
with rules that you seem to have enacted 2 years ago, but "Board Admin" seemed to have simply posted yesterday afternoon, as the post is dated 4/20/2009
I guess it is now a rule since its been in effect for less then 24 hours now according to that post by Board Admin.
You have now clarified a mystery for us.
Thanks
Thanks for making it "simple" for us who may not be too bright (that would be me).
You see....I made the mistake of researching and looking for said "guidelines" BEFORE 3:59:49 PM last night (6:59:49 PM Eastern time).
Thing I don't understand (again, because I'm sloooow) is that the post that I saw before it was pulled....contained nothing that constitutes a "mini-review" per the "guidelines". Nothing at all about:
"Recommended: yes/no/ymmv
Rating: may range from 1/1 to 10/10 (appearance/performance)
GFE: yes/no/ymmv, or may use the GFE+++ scale
Services: list acronyms/terms of offered services only
Rates: rate/time of your encounter
Incall: yes/no - if yes, list general geographical area
Outcall: yes/no/unknown
Photos: accurate/glamour/old/B&S"
It appeared (to my "simple" mind) as just a post from a board member outlining an enjoyable time he had with a well respected provider...at a social event. A "mini-review"? Not so much.
Again....lucky for me that I'm not too quick on the uptake. I'm just here to 'hang out' with fun people...and find hot women to have sex with. ![]()
Sometimes being simple minded like me is best.
Just sayin'
So let me make sure I understand these new rules because I for one have a hard time following rules (ex: I am a hobbyist in a hobby that violates the rules.)
We can have vigorous debates of ideas and offer opinions but not about specific incidents with ladies because that would essentially be a mini-review although sometimes it could be a negative mini-review but still not allowed. We can only voice our opinion in that debate if we have 5 or more TER reviews posted AND only if the provider is a visitor to the area with 3 or less reviews under her name otherwise don’t mention a situation involving a local provider because if too specific it could be construed as a mini-review and removed from the board. Furthermore, you can only comment on the debate about a visiting lady if you intend to post a full review in the next 72 hours although that may be a negative review as well and some gentlemen choose not to air dirty laundry about bad experiences because they don’t always serve a purpose but the experience may be helpful to others in the hobby, providers included, if a specific situation is being discussed about a visiting lady with 3 or less reviews by some hobbyists with 5 or more reviews.
I think I got it now! I thought it was getting confusing for a minute.
I think this link is appropriate too because the rules reminded me of it.
LMAO ... that was a great clip ...
hands off job for the Mod! It's well liked by hobbyists and providers from all over, not just FL. For the most part (with the exception of a few DQ's) it is a pretty closely knit group that enjoys the activites, updates, craziness, and YES, the minireviews. Yes there were times when the Mod had to step in, but it wasn't often. In fact the Mods on many boards actually get into the fun also! They also let the mini reviews go, because it is a great way to share with the other guys a great experience, and to look for a new review coming forth!
To add to what KF said...TER is nothing more than an underground subculture. It's comprised of people who break the rules for a living, and those who break the rules to allow them to make a living, and get something missing in return! Now, while we're all busy breaking the rules, someone backs up a dumptruck filled with rules and dumps it on us.
Geeze, lighten up a little! We aren't little kids here, and this isn't grade school! Being moderator of the FL board is a job you can "phone in" but for some reason you are making it harder than it should be....on EVERYONE concerned!
Great post Up. If we get too bogged down with rules and regs and subsequently become gun shy when posting, I predict we will hear crickets chirping here very soon. The FL board is the flagship for TER and it would be a shame to see it reduced to what some of the other boards have deteriorated into.
....let's be a little more open & relaxed here....
