Economically, I think this is exactly what we need right now. I don't see anything else changing in the next 3-5 years that could possibly turn things around for us in South Florida. While they are buidling these big casino hotels, I hope they go ahead and update our convention centers so that we can bring back some of the conventions we lost to other southeastern cities.
My question is how do you all think this would change our game? We will most certainly have more providers and hobbyists in town. I haven't been to Vegas or any other casino city since I started hobbying. What are the benefits and downside for the local hobbyists and providers?

gogo , South Florida will NEVER a Las Vegas !  Vegas has California right on there west ! More $$ and more players  then the 10 states surrounding Florida !
