Hi all! A question for both the ladies and the gents. What do you do to get ready for a delightful date? Aside from getting nice and clean: do you do anything to get you in the mood? Guys, do you take care of business at hand before the date to increase your lasting power later and to relax a bit? Or does that backfire?

I light a few candles & pick a Pandora station (usually Kinobe).

I choose 2 or 3 toys from my collection & lots of covers...
I put them out with gel & liquid lubricants.

IF my guest hasn't requested otherwise...
I pick a perfume.

After a bubble bath... I get into something super sexy.

Lastly... I turn on my colored "disco light" & laser lights & wait.

I fluff my pillows and light a few candles. I love music so there's something softly playing. I pour an ice cold drink so it's ready for my weary traveler on these hot days and drop the room temperature to 73. Put a clean towel in the shower area so it's ready to be used. Now it's time to put the porn on in my bedroom and living-room TV and get charged up while waiting.

I'm fresh and relaxed with a comfortable surrounding. With tons of space in my 3 bed 2 bath I can stay all day and never get bored. Have a bathtub to soak in and a stand alone shower for visitors. Haven't tried to do a soak for 2 in the tub yet.

I haven't done an outcall in a long time
& I have no intention of ever doing one in the future.

We are LUCKY to be able to work from home & I know for me...
it enables me to be THE HOTTEST wildthing possible as, I am most comfortable
on MY turf.

I've had an outcall to my hotel room and I was tingling with excitement as I prepared for my guest! Do you feel that preparing your surroundings turns you on? The anticipation really got me going.

I've been amazed by how physically aroused the ladies I've seen have appeared to be, right at the start of our date. Do you do anything (test the batteries in your favorite toy?) to get the motor running for when your gentleman arrives?

Since I only see men who "spark" something in me
during an initial phone call... I am excited  the moment we make plans
to share an encounter.

All I have to do to "get my motor running" is recall the conversation
that led to the arrangements & I become anxious to bring JOY to both of us.


I check all of my toys routinely to make sure they are working
& batteries are fully charged.

I usually do outcall....so everything is on me to prepare.

Day before...manicure, pedicure, get the eyebrows waxed so there's 2 of 'em, trim ear and nose hair, lots of water and 2 protein shakes, clothes to cleaners, shop.

Day of...get room set up with any or all of: flowers, candles (100+), rose petals, wine or spirits and mixers, water, music, snacks, Hitachi, male and female condoms, lube, bubble bath, almond oil (for massages), set up webcam.
(kidding on that last one....just seeing if anyone is still following along).

So I'm a real easy date. Because by the time she gets there....I'm friggin' exhausted.

If it was a true BFE I’d be sitting on the couch in a wife-beater and boxers, drinking Bud, shushing her cause the games on, pointing out how hot the asses are on the cheerleaders, questioning why hers isn't like that anymore, and telling her to make me a sammich.

Tried that once...and I find my current approach more effective...and safer. lol.

The ladies (and DD) have done a great job explaining how they create the perfect setting for magic to happen. Guys, do you do any prep work to ensure that you can fully appreciate it? Like have the first pop pre-date to make sure you last long enough to enjoy all that the lady has in store for you?

That's been my strategy for non-hobby dates, big presentations, meetings, Tuesdays, etc. I was curious if it would work as intended or backfire entirely? What's been your experience?

You've mentioned more than once, the concept of rubbing one out before the date under the guise of 'prep work'.
Since this seems to be what you were really trying to get at...I'll offer an opinion on just that.

No. Don't stress and bother with rubbing one out, prepping the pipe, priming the pump, whatever.
It's an old wives tale and completely pointless in this thing of ours.
You're spending time with someone to make yourself feel good. The lady, if she is a true one, is there to make sure that happens. She's not concerned if you last 30 seconds or 30 minutes...again...if she's a good one.
It's not lasting time that matters...but the quality of time you spend with someone.
I think you mentioned earlier that you're in your 30s. If I'm wrong on that...whatever....I'm too tired to go searching to find out for sure. lol.

The point of this is to be happy, for a period of time. If you enter into it concerned about how long you will last, what she'll think, etc....you've ruined it before it begins.

I never understood when I started, as you may not, but learned quickly that these ladies are spot on when they say it's about the journey....not the destination.

Great response! I was primarily trying to start an entertaining thread, hoping for a few humorous responses. Everyone has responded with that and much more. I wasn't expecting such thoughtful contributions. Outstanding conversation all.

I usually make sure I've taken my vitamin E and zinc several days in advance, and no self abuse for a few days as well.  Manscaping is very important, too.  I also try and stay away from garlic and mexican food for a few days before, and drinking pineapple/guava juice for several days before is always nice if you're looking forward to a lady that does CIM.

And may I use your incall? LMAO

I make sure I'm extra clean...good long shower hitting every spot, some twice.  I usually shave the boys the day before.  I don't rub one out for a few days prior (not as easy as it sounds!).  When I get to the location I pop a few breath mints or use a little mouthwash.

The anticipation is so much fun.  And then when she first opens that door and you get a hug and smell her scents...mmmm.
