and look at For Rent signage. You could also consult the Sunday paper for rental properties.  Call the landlord and explain your situation.  Alot of property owners are desperately looking for tenants for their investment properties. You can offer to put a deposit down on a monthly basis, therefore showing good faith.  Good luck and happy apartment hunting.
