I was SO excited to see a nice, mature lady that popped up in 2004/05 in South Florida after I saw one review and one face shot (gorgeous, hot woman of about 47....).

We swap emails, etc and it's now down to just the phone call to book it! I get her on the phone and sure enough, she's 100% from the Bronx and somewhat loud too! I was about to get OFF the phone ASAP, but after the TWO-HOUR hilarious phone call ended, I couldn't wait to be WITH this wonderful, sexy, woman!

I've never met a better kisser, never enjoyed DATY more and every 1-hour date was pretty much for the whole afternoon! We just got along SO well! Being in bed with her was like being surrounded by pure pleasure.....

So, the moral is, don't discard based on accent only! It's "attitude and personality" that backs up the voice that does it..........

I hear all the time that mine is very soothing and makes them comfortable . I once had to convince a woman on the phone that I wasn't a kid ....Does that play a part in deciding to see a provider ?

since I would have probably seen pictures of her before ever talking to her.  Samantha, I can tell by your lovely pics that you are not a kid.  LOL

Swim

that you DO have a really nice voice and accent! No matter how you cut it, that's bound to help and to be more inviting Samantha!

And probably more important than a lady's voice itself is what and how she carries on a conversation. "Yeah", "No", "Dunno", "Maybe", "I don't care", etc is a big Red Flag to me!

I booked with a lady once that I really wanted to see! Our 5-6 minute phone conversation was like pulling teeth from her! Zero laughter, no personality in her voice, yet I booked in. Five minutes later I realized that my date with her was probably going to be handled the same way and I quickly canceled.

If there is some laughter within the first 30-60 seconds, I'm ready to set up a date right there.

Helen with her Finnish accent was a blast to talk too and Violet with her almost little girlish sweet voice was also great to talk to. Both were very easy to laugh......

If the woman's voice is playful and fun, it makes me want to meet her.

Mr. Fisher brings up a good point about the conversation. I like to talk for a few minutes on the phone and see how the interaction goes. If I feel good during that time, then yes I want to meet.

Speaking of red flags: If a provider calls me "baby" on the phone, then I do not want to meet.  I've never had a good experience with a provider that called me that name.

Nothing wrong with a sexy voice. Especially if she talks like a sailor and or willing to dress up like Judy the Time/Life phone operator

When gentlemen call me, they're taken back a little by my voice. I have the voice of teenager, so they always question my age. LOL

A sexy little voice can make a man hard as a rock and anxious to see you. However, it isn't always a good thing. I find that some will call and want to have phone sex. I'm a 'hands on' kind of girl. So, save the nasty talk for our date. ;-)

women are surprised when they see I look like him, too.

absolutely!! For me it's the tone as much as the voice itself. A real raspy 4 pack a day voice is a no-no, as well as an airheaded valleygirl impression. The tone, inflection, general impression are big for me.

It sure does work for me Samantha... I think you have a very sexy, sweet voice and love your accent!!

No, it doesn't play much of a part. By the time we finally speak, I've usually aready made up my mind.

...and I can't remember the line, but it was on the Tonight Show with Johnny Carson. I think he was referring to frequent guest Selma Diamond who had a particularly raspy voice. She wasn't much to look at either.

... I could NEVER do Fran Dresher (I know its spelled wrong - lol)

I saw a lady once who was visiting my city and I had not previously met her. Everything was set up easily via email.

So, the first time I actually talk with her is when I have parked my car and am walking to the hotel door and calling for the room number.  Her four-pack-a-day voice ruined any sexy thoughts I had running through my brain.

I did my best to try to block out the voice and concentrate on the great body and fine talents of the lady but the session just wasn't what I was anticipating.

I mentioned her gravelly voice in my review -- said that it was a slight turnoff for me -- still gave her a very good, solid review and she turned around and emailed me, wanting to rip me a new asshole.  Hey, I'm not the one who ruined my voice, lady, you are.

So, from now on, I always try to hear the voice before I commit to the appointment, if at all possible.

Every once in awhile, there is a woman whose voice hits like nails on the chalkboard. There is one lady that I may have considered until I heard her at a social function. Scratched her from my "maybe" list.

But I've generally had no problems with women of varying voices, ages, regional accents, etc.

very interesting reading all of your responses
