The Provider Friday should be in place of the picture theme of the day. If guys want to link a pic of their Provider of the Day, that is great but I don't see the need for a "Fetish Friday" or a "Fuck Me Friday" thread as well.
Although, I have nothing against ladies who ask me to Fuck them on Fridays!! LOL!
If it ain't broke, don't fix it. or at least that's what it used to be.
I don't care for provider Friday. Every time I see it I wonder what the providers who don't see their names up there think. I don't like people feeling left out or wondering, regardless of the reason. Maybe I just have a big heart, who knows. I've always been very sympathetic for the underdog. And every hobbyist has their likes/dislikes and are all different. What's perfect for one is not for another and vice-versa. I love all the (legitimate) providers.

It's like the pic days, guys nominate the same providers week after week. Of course, it's pretty much the same guys making the nominations also. The ladies that get nominated time after time are the ones we all know are popular. I pretty much stopped posting on that thread for that reason.

But how about a thread....just one for starters...that actually has to do with the hobby and might spark some discussion?
Please let us all know that there is SOMETHING to discuss around here other than the endless debate, polls, and controversy over something so ridiculous as theme day threads.
Maybe if TER bans them for a month (like what is being requested by many respected members) we might actually see some discussion here.
Either that....or the board will continue into the sucking vortex of mediocrity that swirls in the bowl.
It doesn't matter who pushed the flush handle......someone needs to fix it.

and they havent been approved...did you think about that? Like you USED to be, Admin has found it convenient to moderate me for the first time in 8 years of being here, and have removed several threads....
Besides, isnt it YOUR job as the new Hostess to lead the way of making this a friendly board, more welcoming to those who found it so unwelcoming before that was a cause for the new direction now?
And I dont think my reply to DD's post was negative, I simply addressed what he said...read into it as you like....

As the hostess of the board...it is your responsibility...your task...your directive....to spark insightful discussion.
To promote the board as a welcoming place for ALL.
If in doubt...please see the post from DBA defining the position.
It's not up to you to "change" anything.
As you have said yourself, you have no power.
So stop trying to have some.
Foster discussion. Bring up topics. Make the board a welcome place for ALL.
Don't just degenerate into criticizing others...or worrying about who is "winning".
This isn't about you. It's about the board.
Many people have spent countless hours with a sincere desire to make this the best board on the site...and in the hobby as a whole.
The baton has been passed to you.
Step up and make something of the opportunity....something other than to criticize or pass blame onto others.
Leadership requires character. (and a thick skin)

Trying to get the men to communicate there wishes is like pulling teeth. All these threads where on Daego's watch so when I asked questions about what they wanted no one answered.

repeating the same pics week in and week out. There are a number of ladies that are very guilty of this, but in the interest of self-preservation, I'm not going to name names, everyone that looks at the pic threads knows who they are.
Here's a hint for the guys, if you don't want to open all the pic posts only to see a pic you have seen a million times, open the first post, then switch to the flat mode. You can now see all the pics w/o having to open each post. Some of you smarter guys may already know this, but I did not. It does save you from opening every post just to see the same pic she posted last week.

This seemed to work for years here. Not only did this get many responses from Florida hobbyists, there was also a healthy amount of input from non-Florida based hobbyists such as myself to give shout-outs to our Florida based lady friends, especially in the wake of visits by them to our home cities during which they rocked our worlds.
As for pic posts here, there's Ta-Ta Tuesday, Tushy Thursday, if I were the moderator , I would try to keep this to two or three days/week
If you want to stimulate discussion, good luck. You're better off unmoderating the newer members whom are still developing their game, and have questions and points of discussion that those of us who've been here for awhile have already covered and discussed.
Just my three pennies...
if they show not being able to follow posting rules then moderate them. What a task that would be though to control and keep up with. More conversation might inspire others to post as well even if it's off topic so to speak. At this point the newbie people have headed for the hills looking down and wondering "what the hell".
This is the only board on TER acting like this all others have picked their ass up and moving forward in the right direction. Has anyone else noticed this
The readership is way down from when I started in 2007 and I believe there were only three days of photo posts. pictures don't get anyone involved . I myself vote less pictures and never took advantage of all these photo days.
