NOT changing the subject line, or especially learning to use EOM are the board equivalents of leaving your shopping cart 6 feet away from the 'cart corral' because you're too GD lazy to do the right thing. Lazy and stupid....two things I hate.

I'm seriously considering not allowing any post that doesn't use EOM for about a month. That's a last resort to get the point across.

But it only makes life simpler....if people "get it" and actually follow through.

1) Change the subject line when you post to a thread.  It's simple.  Then, you'll save the rest of us untold clicks to see your mundane post which says "Great pic!"

2) When you post a short message, just put "eom" at the end of the subject line.  Again, pretty simple, so that if you don't actually have anything in the body of your post, we (who click with baited breaths to have you impart your wisdom) aren't disappointed when there's tumbleweed blowing around in there.

See?  Two very simple courtesies that EVEN YOU can extend to the community.  Why do I post this? If I saw a trash can tipped over, I'd pick THAT up, too.  It would be a small price to pay to make everything better in the community.

I've seen pics in the last week or so that have been reconstituted through this forum so many times (and--quite literally--for so many years) that Otis has 'em pinned up in his jail cell.
