Just got into Tampa only to find I have been stood up for the evening.  Although its short notice, I would love to meet someone for the evening.  Anybody out there?

the lady actually confirm your date?  Simple questions but sometimes guys overlook the details.

If everything was in order, then do us Florida guys a favor and let us know who NCNS.  You can PM if you wish.

I followed the instructions to the letter.  Arranaged the date 10 days in advance.  Made contact in between and confirmed on Friday only to be stood up at 1pm the next day.  She is well reviewed and I thought all was on, then an email regarding friends coming into town and she couldn't meet etc.etc.  So I ended up at Mons Venus instead of the night I planned.......

don't want to list her by name, give us a clue as to part of the phone number or e-mail address or something.  PM if you don't want to list any information here.

So what's the purpose of this stream of posts if you do not clue us in as to who it was?  Might as well just keep the informaiton to yourself no???  At least the prvider will know that she needs to address the issue....

she actually wrote you and told you she had to cancel.
While not the best of practices, she most certainly didn't "stand you up".

Come on, this happens all the time and no one can tell when something might come up that would someone to have to cancel a date.
I know it's hard for some to grasp, but, sometimes, unexpected family and friend issues do pop up and have a higher priority.

Again, while not the best of practices, she, at least, let you know.
And that counts for something.

If you don't want to give out her info why even tell us about it? Besides, this happens to us ladies all the times. I don't think some guys understand the inconvenience it causes when they stand us up.

YOU are the lady in question???!!!  Wow this is a strange thread.  The guy comes here, says he's been stood up (NC/NS) but doesn't want to share!, then a totally new alias reads his mind, says she wrote him, and explained the problem.  HUH???
Were some posts removed that I missed, or did this poor sap just post to try to get ladies to call him?  OK I give up...tell me the answer...I can't stand the suspense :-X

you don't comprehend what you read.

In his post that I replied to he said
"then an email regarding friends coming into town and she couldn't meet".

That sounds like she tried to notify him.
Now, a phone call would have been better, but she DID notify him.

He made appointment 10 days in advance, Confirmed the day before. Received the email after he was stood up. No excuse, she knew he was from out of town. She owes him and he should expose her for this.

Well actually you weren't stood up as at least you got an email to cancel.  In my case, I had a confirmed appointment 5 days in advance and when I called and emailed the day before the appointment, got no response, no explanation, though it only has been a few days so maybe something will come up.  And I even gave her a $50 deposit, OK OK, stop laughing please.

What IS funny, is No ONE really knows whether he got the message BEFORE or AFTER the date didn't happen!  I missed that part of the rambling paragraph.  So did others.  Another read it as he got the email AFTER she didn't show.  Others read it as though he got a warning...VIA email...which is kinda shitty.  If he DID see it before the date was supposed to happen, he was lucky he had his computer on...she should have called him!  Probably was offered a longer date and double booked, and e mail is less personal when lying to someone!  Why am I going on like this?...I don't give a rat's ass!

However, thank you to all who pointed out my alleged error in reading the plaintiff's statement upon cross examination!  He should be found guilty and jailed for even starting this thread!  LMAO

OH...and by the way>>>>>>>>>>>
