Ladies -  What do y'all do if a date shows up drunk and tough to handle?  Without making a scene I might add! Secondly, do you go back to his Excellent references to inform them?  I'd love to "hear"  your thoughts and possible suggestions

If it is an outcall, I would excuse myself and leave of course, leaving the donation with the gentlemen, I've heard way too many horror stories regarding intoxicated guys that I am just terrified to put myself into a dangerous predicament. If it is an In call, I usually confirm before, the day of, and few minutes prior  by phone call in order to asses the general state of the person and I do not drink more than one drink or offer more than one drink to my dates. It is always good to inform someone your location at all times in case things get out of hand. My assistant knows my whereabouts always when I am working so that is another way to stay safe. And yes, I will notify the ladies that saw him prior, references are meant to keep each other safe and to provide truthful statements about the person in terms of his character and reliability.
Another factor that contributes to encountering intoxicated people is going on calls late at night, I am totally against those but some girls are night owls and are more focused and energized at night. To each their own.

Its funny I spoke to him but he didn't sound drunk but I don't know him either. I agree with everything you Said and do all those things too. He seemed fine at first but pretty quickly I realized I had a problem.  He didn't want to leave either. It was a tense few moments that I don't wish to repeat. I hated to send along his way .... driving and all but didn't see any other choice. Thanks for your feedback.
