Been looking on line.. no looking to spend alot either.

Want some dresses that are sexy to go out in but can be worn to the office and/or the day out .

Anyone know a good site or 2 ?

...because you never know if the sizes are true to size or if the quality is good. Even with the generous return/exchange policies, it can be more trouble than it's worth and a pain in the ass, especially if you are purchasing something for a specific event.  

Perhaps I am old school, but sometimes it is best, and more fun, to just do old fashion shopping at boutiques or retail stores. This way you know what you are getting ahead of time. Personally, I set out with a mission: A specific item in mind, ie black skirt, white blouse, etc. and also a budget in mind as well. I go to the stores with blinders on and do not let the marketing and other items entice me. Once you find your needed item, you are done!  Go enjoy a martini (note: enjoying martinis prior to shopping could lead to buyers remorse). Also, if you see something perfect, get it. Do not go home and then go back, because sometimes it will no longer be there.  

I had a fabulous NY friend gift me lingerie and dresses from Nordstrom and it worked out great. Also, another great FL friend gifted shoes/clothes/lingerie from an online site and most were good. A few times the sizes were off.

Prices are beyond affordable....especially the "doorbuster" shoes.  If what you buy does not float your boat, you are not out a ton of money.
