Have you ever been on a double date in this arena? I don't mean doubles, with two women and one man.

I mean a double date- dinner for four, two men, two women. I've done this a few times and it's a blast. In a couple of cases we all went back to have fun together as a foursome (oh la la!), and in a couple cases we went back to our rooms with our respective dates. They're just so much fun!

Have you had such an experience? How did it end up? Would you do it again? The same way or different?

Not in an arranged setting.

What happened was a few years ago after a meet and greet, myself and another guy went out for a bite to eat and drink with two very lovely providers. It was kinda funny when we were seated at the restaurant and we sorta looked at each other like, "How should we pair off?" We didn't get the chance to take it back to any rooms, so to speak, afterwards but had we done that I'm sure it would have been a sensational time.

The scenario of the four of you going back to enjoy time as a foursome is one that you should write in your blog . . . . . :-

When you "went back to our rooms with our respective dates" where . . .

you at the same hotel and then switched partners after a fixed amount of time? Inquiring minds want to know.

One time we did,

and it was awesome!! We were just across the hall from each other. Actually, come to think of it, there were a couple times like this. I keep remembering other ones. Lol!!

But another time we didn't. It would have been fun, but it was more like both men were going to be in the same city at the same time, and so were both us ladies. So we arranged to stay at the same hotel. It was an impromptu double dinner date. But the lady and I had had fun many times before together, so that was good.

It's much more fun to switch off after a certain amount of time, though!!

Yes, I have.

It can be alot of fun. Love to do it again soon.

I've done it with both couples going back alone, to going back and being in a separate room, and then once to being all together.

Let's make this happen in 2016!

It was not planned ahead of time.

I had a date set up with one of my ATFs - dinner etc. A buddy of mine had set up a date with another of my ATFs for the same night. Both gals knew each other. My buddy told his date that I had referred him to her. Buddy's date suggested he call me and see if we wanted to join them for dinner.

They stopped by my dates place for a cocktail and the four of us went to dinner. Then the four of us went back to my date's place for "dessert".

A great time was had by all.
