Giving her the lay of the land and suggesting some cities that might be best to stay in should not be a problem. Obviously, recommending specific hotels would be a problem.

Since no one else is stepping to the plate, the best place to stay is in the Fort Lauderdale area. It's very central for all the guys. Resist the temptation to stay in South Beach, as it's very far for guys in Palm Beach County and even Fort Lauderdale, plus there's a lot of traffic and it's hard to park. All your appointments will be late.
There are some clean, reasonably priced hotels on the beach, but make sure that parking is easy. The Cypress Creek area is also a great place. Lot's of hotels, plus it has very easy access to I-95.
