I am sorry that you had an experience where you were shortchanged. I will never defend a hobbyist for doing this to a lady. For someone that had posted as many reviews as he has, it is completely inexcusable and for $150, it is ridiculous. I have talked to many providers about whether or not to count the gift & personally, I don't care whether you do or not, but that is me & everybody is different. However, you said that getting 8s on a review is horrible. TER uses 8 for performance as going the extra mile. I know that everybody strives for 10s all the time, but IMHO there is absolutely nothing wrong with an 8 for appearance or performance. Keep in mind that these ratings are opinions and what might be an 8 to one hobbyist might be a 10 to another or even a 6 or 7 to someone else.
As far as the shortchanging goes, ridiculous & inexcusable and maybe the ladies should keep an eye out for this guy.

exactly, amazing how people can be so clueless
if you look at her reviews, this is the only 8 she's gotten, otherwise 9's & 10's, so to her it was a low score. But mainly it was adding insult to injury; the guy not only shorts her, but has the gall to give her the lowest score she's ever received. You may have legitimate issues with score inflation, but the low (to her) score was not the point of her post and you are off base with your post here.
