There is a certain incredibly sexy, well reviewed (mostly 9's and 10's) provider that tours regularly that I've been trying like crazy to visit Atlanta for several monthes now. She tells me that Atlanta has a bad reputation for cancellations and NCNS's. Just wondering if any of you great Florida ladies have had that experience. I know there are several that visit Atlanta regularly. I've tried to argue with her that it can't be that bad if others visit frequently. I would just love to hear some others take on it.

I heard the same thing from a traveling provider that I have seen several times.  She said she finally toured Atlanta, and had a couple NCNS on each day she was there.  She told me she wouldn't do it again.

Being a Florida Lady, I am going to have to add my .02 here. Before I left to come to Atlanta Monday morning I had 3 appointments scheduled.

I also had a few gents that said they would like to see me when I arrived but was unsure of their schedule. Not only did I have ALL THREE do a NCNS, I am now getting nothing but wishy washy attitudes from the other gents that were interested.

Not only that but for some reason gents of Atlanta think they can just place a phone call and jump in their car and come right over. O Contrare...I don't think so! Where in the world do they get off thinking that way?

You asked if any else has experienced this...HELL YES, I am going through it now! Will I return? Probably NOT! There is one thing I can say about the fine gents of Florida, you all know how to treat a lady with respect and for that I thank you and I am sure so many other ladies do as well.

There's NO PLACE like home...I can't wait until I am on my way back! Brad, we have met in the past and I know you are a fine gent. However, I suggest you hop on a plane and go see whoever you are interested in. NO lady deserves to be treated this way!

Thanks so much for sharing that Sindie...I was going to go to Atlanta, but now I don't think I will...I have to use personal time at my job to go during the week and I would be so frustrated to take time off, spend money to travel and have that happen....A big Wet Kiss to our wonderful Florida men!!!

... I apologize for the NCNS & other bad treatment.  There is no excuse for that kind of behavior.  

As to slow schedules the only thing I can say is Atlanta & the surrounding area is hobbyist "heaven" in terms of sheer volume of high quality providers & moderate rates (supply & demand).  Check Eros & other escort malls. I personally saw (as I recall) only touring ladies all of 2008 & none so far in 2009 & as many know I'm a busy hobbyist seeing 2 or 3 ladies a week.  Sindie you appear to be awesome & I'd love to play sometime but it will probably be when I'm in YOUR area (unless you are totally off Atlanta men) - & in over 20 years of hobbying I've NEVER NCNS'd a lady (I've been NCNSd a few time though)& I can count the times I've had to cancel on one hand & never on short notice or if a lady has traveled.

That being said I hope you trash the NCNS's on the Provider board.  I HATE that!

There have been many warnings about "HOT"lanta. Just my 2 cents. Sorry you are going thru that. Stick with the gracious FL GENTS!

I am so sorry that is happening to you.  I was in Atlanta last week and my first 3 appts all cancelled and then my 4th was a NCNS.  Atlanta use to be very, very good to me.  I use to share a condo in Atlanta with another provider.  There is no way in hell that I would share an apartment in Atlanta right now with the way the market is.  Honey I sure hope you don't go backwards on your trip.  Lucky for me, last week with all my bad luck in Atlanta, the hotel let me check out early and didn't charge me my last night for my reservation.  Try the Carolinas.  The men in the Carolinas usually book 2 hr appts in advance and they KEEP their appts.  Madison

Sorry to hear a about your problems in Atlanta.  Unfortunately we are getting a bad rep which is deserved.  There are several top providers that will no longer see locals anymore.  I heard a story last week that one local hobbyist who fancys himself as bmob has the audacity to ask a provider for a free overnight.   She had seen his cheap ass once years ago.  Oh, he was going to buy her dinner.    As the Mod of the Atl board please accept my apology for your treatment.

are sweethearts and would never do that.  But Atlanta is so oversaturated with providers that most Atlanta hobbyist are not loyal to anyone and will cancel on a girl the last minute to book with someone else.  Also, they double book.  I find it amusing when another provider lets me know that a guy I am supposed to see is trying to book with her for the same time.  Also, the Atlanta guys have somehow gotten use to booking last minute appts and they seem to think that providers are sitting at home made-up, freshly showered, sitting in lingerie, waiting on their call.  And you hit wishy-washy on the head.  But i don't play that game.  When they start going back and forth or trying to change a time with me, I just back away.

There is absolutely no excuse for NCNS incidences and this post isn't about justifying such low class behavior.

However, I would like for touring providers to understand and realize the simple realities of the Atlanta market.  As someone above noted, the Atlanta market is unbelievably saturated with beautiful ladies providing these services.  That fact, combined with current economic realities means that the quality experience can be purchased at lower price points.  Pure and simple economics.

A Florida lady that may be commanding $325-$500 in the Florida market may be "on-par" with an Atlanta provider in the $225-$275 price range.  That doesn't mean the Florida/touring lady is any less than, but it just means she probably needs to think about adjusting her donation for market realities.

Conversely, if a touring lady goes to New York or Los Angeles, they will likely raise their asking donation rate to be consistent with the market.  Why would anyone believe it doesn't work inversely in markets where the opposite is true?

Just something to think about.

From what you say, I can understand your displeasure about some of it.

I'm sorry to learn that as an ATL guy, and one who is forced into only being able to attempt short notice appts. I must be one who is the target of your writings too.

I wish I had the luxury of scheduling things days in advance.  But that's just not possible because of my job.  So, when I realize that I have a certain window of available time, I make the call and if she is available within that window, great.  If not, I either find someone else or I just forget about it until next time I see an opportunity.  Sorry but that's the best I can do.

Until now, I didn't realize that my situation should disqualify me from participating.

Sorry to hear that. As a matter of fact, Sindie, I used you as an example to her as one you visited Atlanta regularly...so it couldn't be that bad.
I've got to find a reason to get to the Tampa/Orlando area. After visiting the Florida board the last few monthes, I've become infatuated with Paris, Eve and Steph (who visits the area). I'm sure there are others, but those 3 have certainly got my attention. I had the pleasure of seeing Sindie on her way to Atlanta last fall. That would be a helluva couple of days to see those 4. It would probably kill me, but what a way to go.

Perhaps the definition of "short notice" would be important as well.
As you say in your post on the Atlanta board, your window of opportunity is usually an hour in advance. This may be a problem for some providers, but apparently not all, as you have 41 reviews.
What I would assume (not being a provider) to be a problem is when some yokel calls, wants to show up in 15 minutes, and then gives the lady an attitude when she says she needs an hour to prepare. Certainly you wouldn't do that...but the same cannot be said of your local brethren.

I'm sure Sindie's post wasn't directed at you personally, so no need to feel "disqualified".

The point is, as has been made on this board and many others, the amazing lack of respect from both sides of the aisle at times. People acting in a way they would NEVER attempt, or get away with, in the 'real' world.
It is an unfortunate fact, however, that rudeness, lack of respect, and a sense of entitlement exists everywhere. It just seems to be exaggerated in the hobby world many times.

Bad providers, and clients, need to be exposed...and that's what we're here for.
Fortunately for us Florida boys, most of us are men of our word and gentlemen. This may be one of the reasons why we don't see posts about quality providers avoiding FL like they do....let's just say "other areas".

I have heard that 'home' ladies can be very protective of their 'home turf' and their guys - and if they sometimes post fake reviews - fake appts are a possibility??? -would tend to keep the competition out.

Not accusing anyone - just seems odd that there are THAT many bad appts in one city.

Your frustration is understood, but bashing an entire city is unprofessional, and lacks a lot of foresight.  You never know how many traveling Atlanta gents you may have alienated by implying that they don't know "how to treat a lady with respect."  I'd be offended if I were from there, myself.  No respectful gentleman deserves to be branded that way.

I personally avoid any provider that airs negativity in this matter.  There's forum to exchange information about NCNSs, but making generalizations about an entire city is seriously wrong.

has just missed one of the best!  Sorry to hear about the problem.  We had a lady touring a while back from Atlanta.  There were 2 of us that I know of had dates set up with her, and she blew us both off with some needle brain excuse.  Pretty strange for someone coming HERE to pull that off.  Must be the "ASS-lanta" mind set!

I have lived here and worked here as a local for the past 5 years.  I have been very fortunate to have established a regular client base in a market that is , for the most part, one of the toughest places to be.  

While I am thankful and appreciate the gentleman ( and there are some great ones ) that are considerate of your time and value, it is true that there are a growing number of last minute cancelers, time-waters, those that ask for discounts and NC/ NS's.  Is it Atlanta or the economy???  I honestly can not give you an unbiased opinion as I have never toured.  I can Honestly say though, that even though I do not tour ( yet ), Most of the cancellations and NC/NS are from NEWBIES, who are not aware of the time and effort that is put into arranging a puuuuurrrrfect encounter, and from travelers who have had their schedules turned upside down from either work or flight delays.

While I have heard of local girls not being friendly to visiting providers, I cant say that Atlanta is that place.  From the provider's prospective, you will find that the ladies for the most part are great on providing references and participating  in helping other ladies out. I'm So sorry Sindie,  that you have experienced such a hard time here in Atlanta...If you need anything you can give me a call.  Im not sure what I could do aside from providing references, but Id be happy to do what I can.

It is somewhat embarrassing that Atlanta has developed a reputation for cheapskates and and Time-wasters...There are, As I said, Quite a few great guys here in Atlanta.  I wish the ones who were rude and inconsiderate would stop giving the good ones such a bad name...

My post was a follow-up comment to an observation about the Atlanta market in general.  Specifically, providers may have better luck touring the Atlanta market if they took the time to do their research and modified their business practices and donation rates accordingly. It's not rocket surgery....

Sindie, I am sure sorry that a few of the Atlanta guys are showing their asses.  That's just not right to do to anyone, especially one as fine looking and fun to be with as you are.  Don't know who the assholes are but I hope it doesn't turn you against Atlanta.  Your visits are always something to look forward to.

I believe she was referring to the fact that Sindie already had bookings BEFORE she went to Atlanta.  I'm sure that is a major reason she made the trip.  Then those bookings flaked on her, leaving her scrambling for appointments to make up the lost revenue.  Those following appointments also apparently involved some NCNS.

In other words, Sindie did her "research and [adjusted her] business practice" to make her trip to that market worthwhile.  I don't see the donation issue having anything to do with this situation.

No provider deserves that and especially this lovely lady......the Atlanta guys don't deserve the class these ladies bring....it will come back to haunt them...What a mistake not seeing this lady......I am sure not all Georgia men are in that class but it seems to be happening all too often.....They justed missed a potential ATF.....just like a DAWG.....

No, I am sure I'm wrong.  That was the second time, ever, so I guess we're tied in that regard!  

I do sympathize with Sindie's plight.  She seems like a sweetie, and I understand what you are saying - it is very low class to cancel the last minute, except in an emergency, and is inexcusable to do so without given as much notice as possible.

And, no the donation issue has nothing to do with Sindie's issue per se, and I'll repeat myself again.  I was replying to the post that pointed out the fact that the Atlanta market is saturated with low cost, gorgeous ladies.  That fact is undeniable, and that, coupled with the fact that there are so many high quality agencies, makes a touring independent's marketing very difficult.

It's too bad a touring lady cannot secure a deposit before embarking on a tour city.  I, for one, would be willing to pay a non-refundable Paypal deposit for a well-reviewed provider in exchange for some break in the standard pricing.  Would be a win-win for everyone.

Hop on a plane (Tampa or Orlando-bound), escape for a day or a couple, and play in their fair cities. I've done it already and I will do it again next week!

If the market value is not deemed fair, one should not get bookings in the first place, and would know to either adjust rates or tour elsewhere.

Robin, I saw and appreciated your disclaimer about NC/NS's, but it still should not be about the "economics" of the market to have girls get bookings and have multiple nc/ns's once they are in town.  Your observations re: the ATL market, while possibly valid, are for another discussion IMO.
