Trying to hide a smile when something normal is suggestive of our Hobbies

I was driving home today when I passed an add for a school called CBT which offers the best in intense training and started giggling. The regular Joe in the car with me couldn't figure out what was so funny.

As another example, I work in an industry that includes Hobbyists, just not our hobby. So in the office we regularly discuss how to deal with "hobbyists" and sometimes people say things that are so suggestive of our hobby that its hard to not crack up.

Anyone feel like sharing amusing anecdotes?

when someone uses "hobbyist" in lieu of whoremonger or john.
Was it anyone here that coined the term? Very creative.
It has to have provided many a rationalization over the years.
I haven't used it myself but I like that it's an available term.

...and posted about it awhile ago. Check the link for the previous discussion. The number of examples of double entendre is endless. Whether I am on a plane reading a magazine or walking down the street and see a billboard, there are countless phrases that make me smirk or blush.  I sometimes think the advertising and marketing people are definitely targeting a certain market ;)
