I have never been to Florida and was thinking of coming out there for the weekend festivities. I would be flying into the Ft. Lauderdale airport and need to take public transportation to Miami. Also, I would only be in town for 3 days, is there any need to know info concerning this weekend? Any suggestion, advice, or info is appreciated.
I think the only transportation you could take from FL airport into Miami is the shuttle - Super Shuttle is good, you save a lot of money with them rather than a taxi which'd cost c.$100 so I'm told.
Are you staying in South Beach? Food on Ocean Drive isn't so good and tends to be expensive - the exception is Zagat rated Quinn's, very good but not cheap.
Try talking to concierges, they can be helpful. Hope you have a great time!
hey girl, you picked quite a weekend. As a local here in SOBE I can tell you the beach is wild and packed for the superbowl. Hope you already booked a room. As far as P.T. Super shuttle is around $40ish..might take you a couple hours. Cab is $75 (plus tip) Good Luck. I hope your trip is fun ,if not beneficial. PEACE
....the best thing to do would be to fly into Miami directly. Fort Lauderdale to Miami the only way there is by shuttle or cab which will run you $75-100. If you are fortunate to find a hobbyist to pick you up that could work too.
Otherwise, it is Super Bowl weekend....just a very large party going on.
