So I'm curious, what everyone thinks are the best restaurants to do a dinner appointment at in the Ft Lauderdale/Boca Raton area?  I love just about anything on Las Olas, but wonder if there are some other hidden gems that would make great options.

On Las OLas, Yolo is great. Steak 954 in the W is awesome as well.

Boca; New York Prime, Lemongrass (sushi), III Forks and Seasons 52.

One of the Cuillinary delights of S Fl. is Cafe Max on atlantic east of us1 in pompano, and whats even better , For the summer the outstanding wine list is half price everyday except saturday
BTW , order the warm apple tart with cinnamon ice cream

..for dinner appointments, but after a spirited session I love The Floridian, a diner on Las Olas that's open 24/7. The food is great and plentiful, and the customers are an eclectic bunch of locals. My favorite early morning breakfast spot.

I've always liked Cafe Martorano on Oakland Park Blvd...but the man is right, there are a ton of great spots in the area
