Agree.  Bern's is overrated for the $ it will cost.  Now, the desert room at Bern's is another matter.  It is a must if you want to impress someone (lady or business associate).

Berns has the biggest wine list  in the U.S. and great steaks, and desserts. I got a BJ there once while a waiter watched.

Open about 4 weeks. It has become the place to eat and drink and meet. Excellent steaks, full two shot drinks and fish too. Turns Berns, Flemings, and Charley's upside down. I like them also, but this place is special, and just across from International Mall.
I will be at the Blue lounge bar, my favorite place, tonight at 8. Dinner and drinks.

I only have a Golden Corral where I come from, so I have eaten "high on the hog" (or cow) when I've been in FL.

That Charley's place is so much better than it's kissin cuzins place O'Charley's. And they have big-ass filets too. The smallest is 'bout 16ozs!!! Now that's some good eaten!

Bern's is  so fancified, I  sure enjoyed "terring" the whole place! Thsy have cooks wearing these fancy tall white hats and fancy wines and desserts upstairs. It's 'bout as purdy as one of them french bordello's I've heard tell of!

And I had me a blast at the Capital Grille too at that fancy International Mall. Dang I was scared I wouldn't be allowed to shop there without one of them passports since it's one of them International places!

All of them was some GOOD EATIN for this hillbilly concubine!

I can't wait to come flyin back into Tampa on one of those big birds in the sky!

But I did miss them bananna puddings with the Vanilla Wafers at the all you can eat dessert bar at Golden Corral

I agree, for the $, Bern's is overrated. Now, if you want to go for dessert only, that's another story; cannot be beat.
