Well regarding Bendricks Vacations I certainly cannot comment on them for I have never used them. I can say though, that I think that you can do just fine without them! All you need is a flight to San Jose Costa Rica along with a few bucks in your pocket and you will have a great time. Depending on what you are looking for and how long you want the company and where ... those are you only worries that you will have. Also stay away from the strip clubs ... Elite, Olympus, Josefine's etc ... they can rip ya off within minutes and leave ya stone cold broke!
My recommendation is once you are in the City of San Jose ask a taxi driver to take you to el hotel Del Rey for the evening. There you will have an opportunity to feast at a reasonable cost (roughly $60.00 to $150.00). If you find a lady that ticlkes your fancy then you can talk some biz for an extended stay.
My advice goes the same here, stay away from the strip clubs! i was there recently and i will never go through that again, i thought I could take someone home but I got ripped off hard.
Your first choice for lodging should be the Presidente. If booked, try the Hotel Morazon. It is guest-friendly (wink) and close to the world-famous Blue Marlin Bar. BTW, I hear that the Radisson is NOT guest-friendly. Moral (not that we need or have them): "when in Rome... be guest-friendly".
