Some boards are harder to moderate than others, in particular, Florida. We make mistakes, yes, but we all try to do the best we can. I'm not defending admin or DD. If DD fucked up in the eyes of admin, then he would be removed as mod, as would any of us. I do think DD should have been some kind of notice and reason for admin's actions, but that is just my opinion. If it was me, I would want to know why, as I'm sure DD does. Nobody likes this kind of surprise.
I even PM's one of the ladies after she requested comments and told her that I was doing it in that fashion to obey TER rules. Well, the rules have not been followed too well in the last 24 hours or so.
Could the theme days be in their final days??? Hope not. I enjoy the pics.
I was unaware that DD was not allowing responses to theme pic posts. Each moderator was/is allowed to have different rules regarding certain things due different discussion boards needing different rules, etc. Something such as "no replying to a theme pic day post" isn't site wide policy and was something DD implemented on the FL board and perhaps his other boards.
Again, I was unaware that this was the norm on the FL board.
I have no issue with denying the replies to the pic day threads. I will do that now.

i did not know we needed any fixing here on the florida board. This is just another bump in the road to drive over. For the record while not my ideal moderator DD did the job well without in most cases getting personal.
