First off...the difference between unprotected oral and bbfs is very large, risk-wise. The link provided explains it much better than I can here.
Make no mistake though....there is a difference.

Frankly what's more frightening (to me) than the risks of bbfs is the disease transmission and carrying with oral. A short list of these STDs include herpes, syphilis, gonorrhea, genital warts (HPV), intestinal parasites (amebiasis), and hepatitis A.

And here's why it's frightening.....
Chlamydia, for example, is easily transmitted.
As many as 1 in 4 men show NO symptoms!
70% of women show NO symptoms!

Left undiagnosed and untreated...chlamydia can lead to inflammation of the cervix in women...and urethritis in men. Left untreated this could develop into Reiter's syndrome....which can lead to arthritis.
All this can be avoided just by testing and getting some antibiotics early on. Easy.

And that's just one STD.

This is why the importance of testing can NEVER be overstated. Just because you don't 'think' you have anything....means nothing. Not everything shows symptoms...as the numbers clearly support.
This is why I get tested every 3 months no matter what. It's simple, fast, and gives peace of mind.
Just got mine back last week...and the Little Daego did the Happy Dance again.

So here's your PSA of the day....if you haven't been tested...get off your butt and get it done.
Seeing all 'green' checkmarks and "negative" in the results column is a great feeling. You owe it to yourself to feel that good.
