When is a appropriate time span to confirm a appointment?

How long do u wait til you consider a provider/client a book no show?

Here is y I ask.. have an appointment this evening . The gent is a repeat client. He confirmed this morning but haven't heard from him since. It's a little over an hour til our agreed time. I have texted twice an hour ago but no reply.

had made. For most of my encounters, I will confirm with the provider about 48 hours ahead of time. I will also tell her I will have internet access until Tues. evening and turn on my hobby phone about 2 hours prior to our date.

For example, for my encounter last evening (Wednesday), I emailed the provider on Sunday and told her my last internet access would be Tuesday evening and that my cell phone would be turned on about 2 hours prior. At about 5 pm, I got a text from her confirming out 6pm tryst.

In summary, it is all about communication.

And has the address, I would not consider him a no-show until 10 minutes past the scheduled time!  He is a repeat client, so you know he is not a habitual nc/ns.  Unless some emergency happened or he is just totally inconsiderate he will be there.  He may not be in a position to constantly monitor his phone and/or email.  He could be in business meetings, with family, etc.
