I always require references and am happy to give references for a gent I have seen within the past 12 months.
Gents, you might want to ask your lady friends if you can use them as a reference. This saves us the back-n-forth trying to contact some one who prefers not to be contacted and then we have to get back to you and ask for another ref because the first one was not willing to give you the okay. To be clear, we never share anything personal. We simply say, yes I met him and yes I would see him again. xoxKay
Many providers and clients alike appreciate the reference system. It’s a non-invasive way to keep us all safe. Let me make a complaint though. One week ago a reference was given using Sadie Valentine as a provider reference . I contacted her to ask to verify the client. I was told “Sorry, I’m no longer in the business and I don’t have any of information.”
Noted. Here’s the problem. She responded from her work email, so she’s still checking it. Ok, weird. She has a p411 ad as well as an Eros ad up and active. Ok, now that’s super weird, but whatever.
Well, it’s been a week. Wouldn’t you know, her Eros ad is now updated with new pics. Out of the business, you say? This is such a terrible practice to subscribe to. There is no reason to not vouch for someone. Ever. We all rely heavily on safety and keeping others safe as well. I’m so disappointed that someone would act this way.
If you’re not giving references because you don’t want to “Lose a client” check yourself. Providers have ample opportunities to see clients and vice versa. If a client only wanted to see 1 person, he’d see his wife. If a provider only wants to see 1 client, you’d have a monthly SD arrangement.

There are a lot ladies that won’t give references to “competition”. The irony is these same ladies have no Problem reaching out when they need somebody verified. I know it’s frustrating. Curious how long ago your friend saw this lady? Not that it really matters she’s obviously a liar and you shouldn’t waste anymore time stressing about it.
Ladies that require references themselves should be willing to give one. References are most definitely a courtesy and I get it if a lady doesn't ask for them herself but majority of the time, it's one's that do require them that refuse to give them. XOXO TL

... stories like yours Grace and some of my own where chicks will conveniently take a week if they respond at all are why i don't take much stock in refs anymore. It's a pain in the ass but no one gets in the way of my dollars so jokes on them. I'm always mentally prepared when asking for a reference to be ready to quickly use other methods of screening just in case the ref(s) decide to take her/their sweet ass time. **giving you e-hugs**
