Do you get dressed for her by putting on a nice outfit or do you greet her in your bum around the house/yard clothes? Are you a smoking jacket or your skivvies kind of guy? ; )
I find it a turn on when men get dressed for our rendezvous' together. It implies that you want to make a good impression too and that maybe you actually care about our opinions.
I met someone recently who greeted me in beach shorts and a t-shirt with homemade cut off sleeves. I honestly had to look away on my first glance because he *really* needed sleeves. I discovered through our conversations that he doesn't really respect providers in general. I figured that was the reason he didn't care about presenting himself in the best way possible. To his credit, I think he must have sensed something because he did go change into a regular shirt after a little while.
I've rarely done out calls so I usually show up in my work clothes. Which is khakis and a nice shirt/shoes. Last time I did in call I wore shorts (no holes; khaki) and a button up shirt. I was barefoot since it was in a beach condo. It was a very sunny day in the spring and I had the sliding door open so it seemed appropriate. Of course, I live at the beach so it's pretty standard attire.
If I were traveling and at a hotel and hosted, I'd most likely wear something similar to my work clothes. Nothing sloppy.
A pair of slacks and nice pullover button collar shirt and good shoes. Occasionally if I have one with me and anise dinner planned I will even wear a suit. Sometimes jeans.
...I don't see much reason to dress any differently for an appointment than I would for a more traditional date. My life (thankfully) tends to be reasonably casual, but that's more a reflection of preference than company....
It really depends on the location and if I've seen the lady. If it's the first time, I want to make a good impression as much as she does, so I wear either a Tommy Bahama style silk shirt with nice slacks (I always freshen up and change after business, hate staying in a suit). If it's someone I've seen before and we're comfortable with each other, I may wear something a little more casual, but never revealing. I want it to be like Christmas for her too .
It depends on the time of day, location, first date or an old friend. First and foremost, freshly showered, either before our date if I am home or at the location incall/outcall . If a provider has reviews that indicate casual is ok, and afternoon at the beach, then a polo and shorts. Usually first time dates I am more inclined to wear a pressed shirt and chinos. A familiar date such as with a GF the importance of dress isn't as important UNLESS the lady continues to dress to the nines. I don't go out with my significant other much so it is nice to look nice and be recognized by my date as such. A lot of ladies will treat me just as I treat them, sometimes it really pays off in the sack! Just sayin'.
for before "private time". In the summer, it will either be a nice pair of shorts/shirt or slacks/shirt for going out; always with sleeves LOL. Winter clothes to fit the temp.
Location matters as well. If it is a beach location I will dress "tropical tourist" but if a downtown hotel, business attire. As Elle says, you need to blend in. Hint--I don't turn heads like she does.
