Could he expect respect and understanding? Could their be expressions of affection such as cuddling, kissing, daty? Just wonder how that'd work out for him. Oh, I'm seeking answers for a friend, btw.

of course he could expect all that, if he called the right lady.  i have several friends his age - and older - and i tell them (with a smile) that there's more than one way to skin a cat!  patience, understanding and affection on my part make for a wonderful experience for both of us...

but believe me this is what this gentlemen is looking for. He wants to please a lady more than the attention given to him. Seems strange that someone would want to please another more than themselves or does it ? To me that is the making of the best lover of all.

I would say many gentlemen in that age group are looking for sensual closeness for their first time. Good old-fashioned make out with much titillation sometimes is the perfect first interlude. Getting to know one another is very important so that comfort and closeness is reached. No, i'm not talking about a whole lot of chatter.
