I know this is not really part of the industry but I have a question. I was talking to a friend in the S and M fetish community and it came up about the poly-amorous community. He said that poly is part of the fetish community and I have to admit I was taken aback. It never occurred to me that this was true. I have always thought of polyamory groups more as hetro, homo, bi. I have never thought of a choice of who or how many being the same as actions or what you like to do.  

Any thoughts for you experts in experiencing all types combinations and experiences? If I am into poly-groups am I missing out be not exploring fetish groups even though I am NOT into a lot of the actions I know many fetish groups are into other than multiple people?

It's a lifestyle. A relationship not limited to two individuals.  There is a huge poly amorous community in South Florida. It's kind of like Utah just not involving government or marriage.  
You can have a Poly relationship and it not fall into the fetish category if it was only Vanilla sex.  
There is a difference between having threesomes and or group sex with random strangers and being in a Poly-amorous relationship with another couple or individual.
