Miami has everything! awesome events, the Miami Heat, the beach, fabulous restaurants, beautiful providers but also traffic! Not sure if you already have a neighborhood selected but obviously Brickell is a great place to live, close to everything (airport, I-95, South Beach etc). You can pretty much walk to everything in Brickell. South beach is nice but sometimes impossible to get into or leave from when traffic is heavy. Other areas such as Aventura and Sunny Isles are also nice.... One of weakest points of the city is safety, so always be aware of your surroundings specially in parking lots, garages or unknown neighborhoods. P.S. Be prepared to listen to a lot of Spanish here.. !!!! I can always give you more specific advice, just ask away!
