Does anyone have a recommendation for a good moderately priced hotel in the Golden Time/Living Room/VV area?  I'm making plans for a June visit and need to get started with reservations.

I've stayed at Hotel Hindenburg in Viersen (google it for contact info). Viersen in general is centrally located for those clubs.

All three are kind of in the sticks, comparatively speaking. When I went to GT I was at a Marriott in Bochum with a friend and drove. Gives you a lot more options.

If you wanted to be closer to the action, Etap has some properties in the region.

They're a bit like Travelodge, but if all you want is a clean bed, shower and free WiFi, they should suffice.

FWIW, I may actually be in the area in June (only one day, though).

I'm going for the ETAP. I have a car so that works; I stayed in the Hindenberg last year.--Quite nice but they raised the rates $15 so now its almost twice as much as ETAP.  With the dollar plunging in value I need to save on the non-pussy expenditures. I'm in the D-Dorf & F-Furt area last week in June if anyone's in the area P.M. me.
