I am looking for a brothel or similar, more high class. Any info is appreciated.

I was in Amsterdam a year ago, I also wanted to try something a little more high class than the windows, so I selected a brothel just as you are looking for.  To compare, I visited a few window girls as well.

After a lot of research into brothels in Amsterdam (look around as there are other boards that cover Amsterdam and Germany in more detail), I chose Asmara.

The experience I found was not that great.  I was shown nine girls, paraded in front of my very hastily one by one so it was hard to choose.  Only one of them smiled at me at all, based on the smile she was the one I chose.

The actual time with her was OK - the sex was good but there was upsell (like 50 EU to touch the breasts upsell!  I like breasts but I am fine staring at them a foot away for free) and while in the middle of the action so to speak, she chimed in with a fifteen minute warning that I think may have been shorting me on time.

In comparison with the window girls the only thing I really found "higher class" about the brothel was the fact you had a shower before and after.  The window girls have a sink and paper towels to wash private areas. In Asmara the room/bed was a touch nicer, but not much.  

With both the window girls and the brothel it would seem you have to have a discussion ahead of time about what exactly (and I do mean exactly, down to exact things that can even be touched or kissed) you can do, you have to carefully check the start time, and so on.  I preferred the window girl experience because you had a much wider range of selection that you could mull over at your leisure, and they really seemed more friendly and liked what they were doing more although they are still very much about finishing up and moving on.  It's not like you are thought of as odd for staring at the window girls, there are tourists of all description gawking all over so you can spend as much time thinking as you like before choosing.

In response to a review of Asmara I wrote on another board someone mentioned that the Park 118 prive (brothel)  seemed much nicer, so you might give that a try - I will the next time I am there.  Or, really, it's so easy to take a train down to Germany and visit an FKK that may be the best option yet (i have not tried that myself).

Overall though I between the brothels and window girls I thought the experience of going with an escort was just miles better, and it may well be true there as well.  It's more expensive but you get what you pay for.  It brought me new appreciation for the wonderful women of TER.  :-

I was last in Amsterdam back in 2007.  I walked through the Wallen (Red Light District) and all I could think of was "human trafficking" and "exploitation."  The women posed in front of their windows while tons of people walked by, looked, and pointed.  In all honesty, it reminded me of the zoo.

I tried a brothel with a similar experience.  I did my research and, I thought, picked out a decent one near my hotel.  In addition to the rushed, up-sell experience, the place reeked of smoke.

Amsterdam is definitely a tourist city, and the sex industry plays right along.  As someone said earlier, a couple of really good German FKKs are less than an hour away by train.

But, I did go to the Thursday night gangbang at the Paradise Club.  It cost something like EUR 60 for the entire night.  The club had a locker room and shower, so you could store your clothes (attire was a towel) and shower.  The club brought in about 3-4 pros to make sure the customers were satisfied.  There were also several amateur couples.  I had visited a pharmacy earlier that day and bought some over-the-counter Viagra.  I arrived about 8 pm and stayed until midnight.  It was absolutely surreal.  In terms of bang-for-the-Euro, it was my best experience in Amsterdam.

In Amsterdam briefly in March of last year and wanting something a little more upscale / less dodgy than what the Red Light District windows seemed to promise and having done a little research, I also visited Asmara.

I didn't write a review, but I'd have to say that my experience was similar to that of "SirWilliam00."

In fact, only three or four girls paraded out, and only one was wearing anything remotely resembling a smile.  None was particularly appealing, but I went for the smile.

The overall experience was not especially sexy, and my gut feeling was that this was not a YMMV-type situation.

The room in which activities took place featured a large bed and a glass-enclosed shower for the mandatory shower: clean enough, perhaps, but a bit clinical.  The girl, from Romania, was nice enough, if a bit ethnic.  I applaud her for speaking reasonably good English, though.  My Romanian and my Dutch are limited, to say the least.

I came away essentially feeling a.) that I had simply punched my Amsterdam brothel card and b.) that one must surely be able to do better.

"Max101" has written about the swingers club, Club Paradise, but the website doesn't seem to make it clear what the admission policy is for single men, or whether there are costs beyond the entry fee.  And, though my experience is not extensive, I can say that both swingers clubs and FKK clubs offer experiences different from those in brothels or with escorts.

So perhaps the really good Amsterdam experience is yet to be revealed?

I checked out the website and it looked a little disorganized, or, at least, neglected.  I remember that the Gangbang was every Thursday night.  The entry fee for guys was something like €60.  That covered everything except your bar tab.  The pictures in the "guided tour" tab looked familiar.  Single guys were admitted on other nights, but, there was little chance to participate because there weren't any "pros" brought in.  I do now that a lot of guys take the 2 1/2 hour train ride to Golden Time just across the border in Germany.
