The Senior Citizens Home has a hypnotist scheduled to perform for the regular Wednesday evening entertainment. The ballroom is maxed out with 300 residents from the Senior's Home. The hypnotist begins his act by saying he will hypnotize everyone in the room, and they will each do exactly as he tells them. He reaches into his coat pocket,and brings out a pocket watch on a chain. "This watch belonged to my great, great grandfather. He got it when he retired from the railroad. It is a valuable family heirloom. I want everyone to concentrate on the watch as I swing it to and fro". Slowly, he begins to swing the watch in pendulem fashion. "You are relaxed, you are thinking of nothing else, but looking at my watch. You are becoming rested, and drowsy. In a moment, you will do anything I say". Suddenly, he loses his grip on the chain, and the watch falls to the floor, breaking into a dozen pieces. "Shit", he says aloud, as he begins to pick up the pieces. It took 3 days to clean up the mess in the ballroom.
