...your sympathetic BS.  Yeah, we all know her brain went into freeze mode, but this is the very definition of hilarity (BTW, feel free to challenge that word, as I know you've already got your hand on a Webster's).  What kills me is that the reason that the 1 out of every 5 Americans stat is true is because of people like her.  She probably knows every Britney Aguilera song backwards and sideways, but couldn't find NORTH AMERICA (much less the USA) on a globe.  A big part of the irony is that the pageant officials probably knew this stat hit home with a lot of their contestants, and thus what really is an EASY question to answer, became a LOADED question.  She claimed afterwards that she "was caught off guard!"  Hold it!  Flag on the play!  It's not like she was asked this question during the swimsuit competition.  Duh!  It's called the "Question and Answer" portion of the competition.  Gotta feel bad for the chick who came in 5th place (1 place behind Miss SC).  Although, I'm not gonna worry about any of these gals' futures.  With their looks and our society's premium for it, they'll all fare quite well.
