Young Colleen's family was very poor and couldn't raise her so they sent her away to live with relatives in a big city when she was just a lass.

One day many years later, a grownup Colleen returned home.

"Well, saints be praised."  exclaimed her papa as the family gathered around this beautifully dressed attractive young woman.

"Thank you papa, but I have to confess something to you all, I've become a prostitute."

"OK, but before I go, I just wanted to share these gifts I brought for all of ye.  Here's a new suit for you papa, and mum, here's some perfumes and makeup from the city, and here are toys, and candies for the little children and also plenty of meats and cheeses for you all..."

"Wait a bit now.", said the papa.  "What is it you said you've become again?"  

"A prostitute, papa"

"Come here and give your dear old dad a hug my child.  These old ears just don't hear that well anymore.  I thought you said 'protestant'."
