Three men died on Christmas Eve and were met at the Pearly Gates by St. Peter.

St. Peter told them that since it is Christmas Eve, they can each pass into heaven irrespective of their histories if they each have a symbol of Christmas on them.

The first man pulled out a lighter and lit it.  St. Peter asked, "What's that for?"  "It represents the lights of Christmas." said the man.  "OK", said St. Peter.  "You can go in."

The second man took out his car keys and jingled them.  "What's that for?" said St. Peter.  "These are Christmans bells.", said the second man.  "OK", said St. Peter.  "You can go in also."

The thrid man pulled out a pair of women's panties from his pocket.  "Now, what could those possibly have to do with Christmas?" asked St. Peter.  "These are Carol's." said the man as he dashed through the gates.
