A retired guy went to the local Social Security office to make application to begin receiving benefits.  After waiting in a long line for quite a while, he finally reaches the counter.  The woman behind the counter asks for his identification to verify his age, etc.  The guy reaches for his wallet only to discover that he's forgotten it & left it at home.

Upset at the thought of having to wait in line a second time, he asks the clerk if it's absolutely necessary.  She looks him over for a moment & then says "Unbutton your shirt."  He complies & a lot of curly gray hair is revealed.  She says "That gray hair on your chest is proof enough for me," & processes his application.

When he gets home, the guy excitedly tells his wife about what happened.  The wife says "You should have dropped your pants...you might have qualifed for disability too."
