Brenda O'Malley was home making dinner as usual, expecting that her husband would be there soon.  Instead there is a knock on the door, & when she opens it she finds one of his friends,Tim Finnegan, standing there.

"Brenda, may I come in?  I have somethin' I gotta tell ya."

"Why of course, Tim..you're always welcome.  But where's my husband?"

"That's what I'm here to be tellin' ya, Brenda.  There's been an accident down at the Guiness brewery..."

"Oh God no! Please don't tell me..."

"I must, Brenda.  Your husband, Shamus, is dead & gone.  I'm sorry."

Finally she looks up at Tim & asks, "So how did it happen?"

"It was truly terrible, Brenda.  He fell into a vat of Guiness Stout & drowned."

"Oh my dear Jesus!  But you must tell me true, Tim...did he at least go quickly?"

"Well no, Brenda....no."

"No?"

"The fact is he got out three times to pee."
