Have you ever wondered how the legend of an angel sitting on top of the Christmas tree originated? Well, here is the true story.

It was the week before Christmas and all hell was breaking loose at the North Pole. Mrs. Claus was having a raging case of PMS and Santa was bearing the brunt of it. Santa's sleigh had a broken runner and the replacement part from China still hadn't arrived. In addition there were power failures in the toy workshop and on top of that a number of elves had gone out on strike over higher wages. To add to this misery, most of the reindeer had come down with severe cases of stomach flu which was causing them to crap all over the place. Of course the phone was falling off the hook with stores and distributors yelling into Santa's ear as to when they would receive their shipment of toys. During one heated phone exchange, there was a long, loud pounding on the front door. That was it! Santa had had it! He slammed down the phone and stormed to the door. When he threw it open there was an angel in the doorway holding a Christmas tree. The angel looked at Santa and said "Where do you want to put this?"

A legend was born.
