...I would consider that the Fort Worth side the DFW metroplex. Reason being, every time I'm over in that area I'm on the Ft. Worth side of the DFW Int'l Airport. Yes, I really use the DFW Airport as the boundary line between Dallas & Ft. Worth. *laughs*  

I am a bit new to Dallas, TX (moved here in February) so I am still learning as well.

I have always assumed....

.....to the inquiring minds, I have always assumed it to be Irving. Maybe it is because it is close to the DFW airport.
