I've been in regular text contact with some of the all stars from the group, since things went south for them in February.  Legal issues are still dragging out in court.  It has impacted both the Dallas home office and the DC branch.  It doesn't look like a return to normal operations will happen anytime soon at either site.  Wish I could be the bearer of better news, but I suspect your friend may be on an extended vacation soon.
