I have found that most providers dont send post-visit thank you emails... have others found this to be common?  I just took notice that the ones who send a thank you note after our visit are the ones I tend to go back and visit again.

Is everyone so busy they dont have moment to do this?  I could understand if we did not have a good visit but that has never been the case.

What has your experience been?

I've only experienced this a couple of times.  For me it has had no influence on whether or not I see them again...

Depending on the lady as to how much it effects me but either way a thank you note does keep a provider in my mind longer. And in more cases then not with me repeat business.

As easy as it is to send a thank you PM or email it would seem a smart thing to do from a business stand point.

it's not the only factor in determining a return visit. I usually send a short email if I have her personal email address... I make a flirty comment and tell her how much I enjoyed our time... some respond, some don't.

It is a business... this would be in the 'customer service' category... seems a lady would think about that... especially if she would like to see you again.

A short... 'Thanks! I enjoyed it too... hope to see you again!'  WOULD go a long way... and being short n sweet tells me they are not into LOTS of email... cool.

On the other hand - I've had ladies send me looooooong multi paragraph emails telling me about life problems etc... that I really like as it tells me they think of me as a friend as well.

As always - if the lady and I really click BCD - the less important email is... it's an individual thing.   .02

I send a thank you for many of my appts after the fact.  Every once in a while I get busy or sometimes the fellow only calls with no email to set up our time.  I never call after the date becuz I feel that is too much of an intrusion.

I didn't really think to do this when I first started out.. but men would send me 'thank you's' and they felt so good to get I started to reciprocate.

But if a thank you is sent.. it should be a one or two liner.   Who likes to be sent books at
ANY point of the relationship?

I think most providers feel it's inappropriate for them to initiate the communication.  Hobbyists, I think, have a "I'll call you don't call me" policy that a provider may be reluctant to violate.

All things being equal, I'm also more likely to go back to someone who reaches out with a nice "thank you".  Isn't that the way business is done everywhere?

Well,

I'm with Laserjock on this one: what's the difference? If you really DUG the experience and you get no response, what're you gonna do?

If it was "just okay," and you get no response, what're you gonna do?

If you really DUG the experience, and they shoot you a little note, what're you gonna do?

And on, and on...

I'm sorry, but I've got to ask: WHAT IS THE BLOODY DIFFERENCE? And, to show that I'm not neglecting meaningful nuances, or just a silly peasant, I'll add: Isn't it better to live in the moment, and ENJOY WHAT YOU HAVE WHILE YOU HAVE IT?

These fine ladies don't want boyfriends, fellas. They are working, and very professionally at that, from all that I can see.

You didn't get a "thank you" email? Great Godamighty...

Okay,
Bobbo

I also have to agree with Laz, If I know the client has no S.O. or he has made it clear that email is okay at anytime i will send a note if I enjoyed our session. I just want to make sure all boundries are respected and I do not want to intrude. So in cases where I do not know a 100% that it's okay to contact afterward I do not for the piece of mind of my clients......

That said it is nice to know that guys like to know that the apt and our time together was enjoyed I will be more mindful of this next time. Thanks for the heads up :-)
